    this looks fantastic.

mind me asking what lift you have and you able to drive on those wheels without any other issue other than when fully turning the wheel?

    looks really good bro.

im looking into a 25 SR5 and im curious if those rims and tires would work perfectly with a TRD lift kit? Or is there additional things that need to be done to have these wheels work without issue?

    thank you!

    looks killer sir.

do you know if its possible to get this wheel setup with just a TRD lift kit on a 2025 SR5? or would other modifications be required to fit?

    thank you

Hey I PM’d you but typically for 37’s you’ll have to do the body mount chop mod and trimming of the liner but should be fine with the TRD lift.

the methods I went with are +18 offset and I have no rub full lock with the stock sway bar both directions.

just saw this, love the setup.

mind me asking if 18x9 +12 DX4 Caper wheels 35x12.5 would fit on a stock Tundra SR5 4WD? The most I would be doing is TRD lift, can it work with this exact setup?

(@fat_marshmallow isn't on very often, but he might jump in here)
The truck there only has a spacer level lift in the front. That's all it takes to fit 35's on these trucks. That and some minor trimming.
Mine is pretty much the same down to the wheels, except I went with an adjustable strut lift (Bilstein 5100's) at 1.8" and what are essentially 35 X 11.5 (slightly narrower tire)

You would have more lift, front and rear, than the truck pictured, and would fit those easily.

thanks i appreciate the reply. im a noob to trucks and am really trying to avoid and wheel well or fender modifications to accomodate the wheels...

but i heard that if i want 37s, that there most definitely will be some mods to accomodate that size, what do you think?

35's: No wheel well or fender modifications. MINOR trimming to inner fender carpet liner only.
37's: Yes, it was answered for you previously. Body mount chop. (Cutting steel.)

appreciate the reply. Yeah i admit at this point a few replies regarding the 37s has convinced me mods are needed which i am trying to avoid.

would you say the feeling going over bumps on the road is MUCH better on 37s than 35s?

Couldn't tell you as I've never had 37's.
It stands to reason though that given the same rim diameter, a 37" tire has an inch more sidewall than a 35". More sidewall = more ride compliance.
Then again, you're also talking about a considerably heavier tire, working the suspension harder.

If you have more questions I suggest you come up with a list and post your own thread as this is meant to be a picture thread and not a Q&A thread.

With the narrower tire, did you need to do any trimming. I have bilstein 5100 on same setting.

Only thing I did was push the rear fender liner back and put a body panel clip to mount it out of the way. Since it had a small amount of rub at full turn on the bottom corner of the liner.

Same as @Justchad. <--Nice tire choice by the way. Baller wheels too!

Removal of bolted-on front fender liner bracket (rear of front wheel well, if that makes sense) and clip liner back.
I still need to trim the bottom 1" or so of carpet liner in the front. Rubs just a hair at full lock in reverse.

Thanks. Was lucky to find the Rays on marketplace.

Bought my truck on Sunday and found the wheels when traveling back home from work later in the week.

305/70/18 Goodyear territory MT on stock OR wheels and 1.5” wheel spacers.

Some slight rubbing at full lock but trimmed the carpet and all is fine again.

Should be the same. Toyota doesn't generally change something like that unless there is an issue with previous versions of a particular part.

After searching through 60+ pages and another 129 to go, i (think) have wheels narrowed down to bronze Methods 318. Any constructive input between these sizes 17x8.5 25 18x8.5 40 or 18x9 18
I only have a level in the front, dont care for a lot of poke and dont want to trim much if any. I was planning on a 35x11.5 for the 17" wheels or 285/70 for the 18" as I think 35s in the 18" will rub. If it helps the tires will be falcon. Wildpeak at4s as I need good rain tires
