I park at the very outskirt of most lots, preferably in the back next to an island on one side. Wife complains about the distance she has to walk, well worth it in the end.

We call them 'no dents' parking spots. Sometimes my wife points them out to me. But she likes closer spots too.

Yep, me too. Lessens your chance of a door ding by half. I also get up as close as possible to the curb on the one side to allow the most distance on the other side if someone decides to park next to me.

I laugh at all the mouth-breathers jockeying for a spot right up close so they won't have to walk a few extra steps. No way in hell I'm jamming my truck into that madness. A lot of them even require the use of the motorized scooters to get around because obesity with no underlying condition apparently is a handicap in and of itself.

That's my MO too. The wife hates it but she is the one who always ends up complaining about a new dent or scratch on her car. People just do not care.

I guess if you park in a crip spot, you can park however you want?

I don't encroach on the walkway that much, but if it's not handicap access I will park on the line if one is marked off. Fewer dents on both sides.

I belong to a Facebook group that outlines the same exact thing. I think it's called Norcal Shitty Parkers or something like that. Here are a few of my submissions.

I was driving through a parking lot one day and saw this guy. Not only parked shitty, but taking two handicapped spots. I actually got out to look and no handicapped license plate and no placard.

    douche1.jpg

I came out of my house one morning and my son, who was probably about 19 at the time, had gotten home late the night before and left his car like this. So I roasted his ass for parking like shit in front of the house. We all had a good laugh about it and he realized he needed to do better. He was not drinking, just not paying enough attention.

    douche2.jpg

The next one was kind of a coincidence. I was going to the local Home Depot and driving through the parking lot when I look over and see this awful parking job. I pull up to take a picture so I can post it on the Facebook group. Once I get close I realize it's my wifes car and her shitty parking job. She got roasted for it. LOL.

    douche3.jpg

The last one was driving through the Whole Foods parking lot and this one was so bad I didn't believe it myself. But there was absolutely no one in the vehicle and the doors were locked. (I checked)

I bet a car in that central spot is how the whole shitty parking job even started.

    None at this point.
    Yeah....
When the Wife and I go "shopping"
I drop Her off at the door and park several rows back and wait for her to come out.
She knows what I like so there's no reason for me to go in with Her.
Dont really know if She means it but She says She'd rather go in by Herself.
    Which I'm fine with.
Even if She's lying for my sake.

Maybe they realized that they shouldn’t move another inch before replacing their lower ball joints. You know, 1st gen problems.:D

Or they blew the original timing belt at 450,000 miles. ;)

It's not really fair of me to pick on this guy I saw at the grocery store. I could spend more time taking pictures of bad park jobs than I do getting groceries.
