Fred Anderson shipping

Hey everyone. I had a question and hope someone has an experience similar. I bought some items from Fred Anderson since they have a sale right now. I got my invoice and they charged me shipping. I thought they had free nationwide shipping. Has anyone experienced this or maybe know what’s going on? I tried contacting them but I can’t get a hold of them. Thank you in advance for the help.

 

You have to look at the full breakdown. Normally there is a shipping charge, but in your discounts there is a free shipping line with a discount for the same. So they cancel out and you get free shipping.

Currently their site states free ground shipping for orders over 75 (up to 200 in shipping cost). So if your order is under 75, its a different t method than ground, or the cost for shipping is over 200 that might be why you see an actual shipping cost.

Email them and they should get back to you. They have always responded when I reached out.

Just a tip, if shipping is over the $200, try splitting up your purchase into 2 or more if possible.

They've been quick to respond to my emails.

Oh ya free up to $200 shipping only. If you buy wheels I buy them in pairs to stay within free shipping terms

 

Thank you all for the responses. I bought all of my parts for my trans. Cooler install(minus the cooler and extra hose) and the price was great. Total was $386.50 but that included 34 dollars shipping. @RobertD, could you explain more please . I’m not fully understanding

 

Not sure which part you need more info. But here is an order I placed in a previous sale. Green shows the discount for shipping but the red shows a shipping charge. They cancel each other out, so I did get free shipping.

I was confused on this breakdown.

 

It has your 15% off and free shipping bundled together in that single line where 102.98 is discounted.

 

The math maths

 

What I was doing was taking the $454.70 and subtracting 102.98 and getting 351.72 but subtracting 15% from $453.70 it’s 386.50 but then saw the shipping. They’re not charging me for shipping but rather just showing what it would be. It’s been a long week and I can’t think lol. Thank you for the help.
