Yup, I was watching. It was super foggy, too. Glad I have heated grips.

This is what I had and am looking for in a better fit now. Once secured I am pouring effort/money into my hustle so I can be less concerned. I wanted to do consulting but that didnt work out as planned. I genuinely love this for you and hope you and others find it and keep it!

Good luck with the mac. They are great machines. I left a few years ago and completely converted out of their eco system. I miss some things, but not often.

Shame on them — that’s what they all do, a skill they have learned and refined to the point of absurdity.

Fort Collins doesn’t allow gated communities. There are several reasons for this. But I’ve had in the back of my mind recently, as a funny/not funny inner monologue — in 20 or 30 years, or hopefully as soon as possible, city residents just need to build a wall around the whole town. So what I need to work on is having a key.

That fucker finally got to you eh? The unit you picked up is in the same family as what we'd typically supply to our execs, and it's what I ended up recommending for my Dad for that reason, he's still liking it. Low occurence of issues, you may've just gotten a lemon? Super weird. Did it continue having the weird ass sleep issues, where it would shutoff?

I'm agnostic, I've got a Macbook Pro I carry around to jobsites, and use a PC at my home workstation for gaming and work, and I run Linux on all my network/systems infra in my household data closet. Mac stuff, I'll say, it just "works". Rare occurences of problems, and when they do come up (like the early touchbar debacles), Apple rarely owns up to and/or fixes the problems. Battery/charging defects were a huge safety risk for them (risk of taking down airplanes and such), so they definitely owned up to that. but I've got a couple of failed-touchbar Macbooks here at the house that are worthless, and Apple won't recall. 2017-2018 models. Expensive fuckers, too.

There's a time and a place for every brand. The sad fact of the matter is, quality of products aren't what they were 10, 20, 30 years ago. Everything has degraded. Auto parts, computers, cars, houses, all of it.

Man, I'm actually on the hunt for another job. I've been doing low voltage/technology installs, end to end, under the business I started. Just had my first customer attempt to stiff me on several $thou in work. Have a call with him later today (site is 2hrs away) to settle up on payment - I still have full admin over his equipment, access to everything, and can wipe it at any time, but there's always legal risk in disabling a business if malicious intent could be implied with the action, and I'd be liable. Sadly, someone I know, 20yrs of friendship out the door because dude wants to tank my business to help his get outta the red and into the black faster. Working for yourself can seriously suck, I'm finding. I'll still keep my business alive, but I've built a new resume a few weeks ago, and I've been applying to jobs pretty consistently the last few weeks.

It would look good with different wheels. I like the retro center caps but don't like that the rest is solid. Makes me want to put some holes in them or something.

Any other cars involved or did those rear wheels just come off the trailer. Doesn't look like you are moving for a while.

I sincerely want to thank the mod(s) that pulled the rant thread I posted yesterday Re: The Catholic school shooting in MPLS.
I regretted it almost immediately and should, and do, know better than to post when something is that raw.
To be clear, I don't regret anything I said, I regret that I posted it here.

I realized shortly after posting that I was doing the exact thing I was ranting about, that is, making it about something other than the victims.
I'm not exactly sure why this particular incident fired me up to the extent that it did. Blind rage is not my normal M.O., but that's close to what I was feeling.

I found out a few hours ago that I have a connection (granted, a couple degrees of separation) to one of the wounded.
My niece worked with (and remains close friends with) the mom of a 12 y/o girl that is in critical condition as of earlier today. They are/were both nurses and worked together for over 20 years.
    https://www.news9.com/story/68b05bb...atholic-school-shooting-victim-sophia-forchas

While all the wounded are expected to survive, many, like Sophia, will have a long recovery, both physical and emotional.

For those that believe we as a society need more prayer, and not less, please keep her and the other victims in your prayers. Thank you.

We definitely do need more prayer. I would remind that prayer without taking action to correct the cause of that misfortune and grief sure does make those prayers feel a lot less genuine, and is a slap in the face to the families of the victims. Rinse, repeat, and what does it mean anymore? (James 2:26, anyone? James James 4:17?)

I think that's where a lot of the division is. It's not in spiritual divide. It's not in political divide. It's in the simple fact that, just as some would describe "insanity", we continue doing the same thing, over and over again, and somehow expect a different result. And we never take action.

Others have already found a solution to heavily impact it. We don't seem to have the strength or courage to try it here.
