I have seen a few around town that have been Bedlined. The issue that they all complained about the weight of the bedliner, fading colors and when it gets dirty it isn’t as easy to wipe down and wash because of the crevices and texture…… but the durability is great.

Nice sounds pretty similar and straight forward. Yaaa I getcha on having to use the whole gallon once you crack it open, a lot easier the sprayer as I just add an extra misting. One cool thing about spraying it is you can change how much texture you get based off of the psi you’re running. I think I spent 3 short days of spraying to get that two tone. I like the look of olive drab, thought about doing with a desert tan as well.
It’s not heavy at all, added a total weight of maybe 30 pounds to my Tacoma. Even carrying the paint in the cans, it’s not much more heavy than regular paint at all.

It’s really not that much more in terms of weight. You’ll hardly notice it. You can do a UV protection spray over the original for a much longer lasting effect. Although fading can happen overtime, especially if parked out in direct sunlight for years on end. Usually a pressure washer will help wash out any potential debris that is stuck in the crevices. Never have to worry about a wax job again.

I used Tulsa body liner on a my overlanding jeep (blasphemy in a Toyota Tundra forum).
They can spray it thick or they can sand it down super smooth where it looks like paint. I can use a microfiber towel on mine and dirt/mud easily comes off because it’s a closed pore system where most body liners are actually open pore. It added 40 ish pounds to my Jeep

I off-road a bunch in the Ozark national forest and have no problems with branches causing pinstriping.

I’ve really thought about having my tundra done and I have a Tacoma I hunt out of is definitely getting when I get the funds.

Quick update: I'm told that, while mixing the bedliner, a drop of hardener splashed in the sprayer's eye - really toxic stuff. This happened last Thursday, so I let em know I'm good waiting until Wednesday (6 days away) to get the truck back.

Hopefully their guy is ok, the truck can wait.
