It doesn’t restrict bed access for 95% of my needs and when I need to haul something larger it takes all of 5 minutes to remove the cover panels and center panel, easy. Another 5 minutes to reinstall them when finished.

I can put a lot of weight on top of it as well, it’s rated for 2K lbs- although I wouldn’t put more than 1k lbs on it- so the only time I remove it is to move large items like a fridge/appliance.

if the diamondback doesn’t fit your needs, lots of other choices out there.

I’ve really been pleased with mine.

Would I put a 1000 pounds on the top of my composite bed? Probably not. I have a 200 pound cap on my 2024 composite bed and can see the seems or openings between the tailgate and taillight have shifted. Hindsight to me says to use bed stiffeners to prevent that.

I had purchased GatorTrax Tonneau Cover
Part #: GRX-G60860 very easy to install and it's lockable.
it will hold water back at the car wash.
Cons, the composite top rattles like F but ypu only hear it when the back window is dropped.
Also if you live in a cold climate it will freeze shut if it gets water on it and of course if temps drop to sub freezing.
