I just bought a new Tundra. 2025 SR5 4x4 with the short box.

It has the Yokohama Geolanders 265/70R18.

Can anyone tell me; how can I determine the stock rim width and offset? I guess I'm wondering if this is something I can look up? Or is it marked somewhere on the rim?

I know I can pull the rim off the truck and measure, but I am a bit lazy and hoping not to have to do that.

Pics will be in next post.

Hey, thank you SO much! Great idea to look on ebay. So it's an 18x7 with a 60mm offset. Nice.

I am planning to level the truck. I think I just need a spacer. My 2014 Tundra had a RevTek spacer on it when I bought it new. This one has no such thing, so I have to track one down.

I'm seeing Westcott on backorder. I wonder if the cheapie Amazon DynoFit would be adequate. I also see Rough Country. And ReadyLift.

If you have a recommendation for a basic spacer or puck, please let me know.

Congrats on the new rig! I installed the Cornfed 1” spacer on the front and leveled me out for what I wanted. It was super easy to install and a great price. I have the sport suspension though and was lower in the front than other trims.

Here's one more thing. I have always thought a Decked system would be cool. Planned on doing it with this truck. But, without realizing it, I bought a Tundra with this plastic liner that apparently precludes installation of a Decked system. Grrr! Anyone else use a Decked system in their truck?

    Hi,

all Gen 3 Tundra’s come with a plastic box. You cannot get around it. I’m surprised that this prevents you from installing a deck drawer system. Did they tell you why? I was able to put one in my cart on their own website.

You don't have a plastic bed liner, you have a plastic bed; you can use the DECKED system just fine

I reached out to Decked for help, using their website pop up guy. He said the only bedliner that is compatible with their drawers is the spray on type. Thinking about it now, maybe I was communicating with some AI character, similar to the Microsoft paperclip. LOL! Maybe I need to get an actual person on the phone.

For leveling, the Rough Country leveling spacer is some kind of composite nylon material. Maybe I will go that route.

    Hmmm.

Decision made - going to level the truck with simple front spacer. Rough Country. I will try that for a while. If I don't like it, I will change to a Westcott 1/3 or similar.

Working on aftermarket wheels and tires decision. That wheels and tires thread is an absolute rabbit hole. I been in there for three evenings now. LOL! I'm getting close to making a decision.

I got my Rough Country spacers in today. Had to get it aligned, too. No issues with the sensors. I'll get a picture put up.

I ordered a wheels & tires package last week. I guess we'll see when they show up.

You dont have a liner installed - there is no bed underneath that - that IS the bed. Look in the rear wheel well, you'll see the composite bed which is the same material that you're looking at from the top.

Thanks @kjinxx2 & @Mallcrl & @TheDo114 for trying to educate me. I finally see what you’re talking about. A plastic bed!

"composite" because just saying it's plastic makes it sound cheap :p

    Looks good Rigger!
Your composite bed does have some aluminum sub-structure/framework supporting it in key areas. (Back vertical corners by the tailgate for example.)
It's also molded much thicker than your typical bed liner.
    It is surprisingly tough.
The downside is that by itself, like a bed liner, it can be slippery.
You can do a spray-in liner, or throw down a rubber mat, either works.

SMC (Sheet Molded Compound) has been around in automotive for quite a while, it's not new tech.
Polymer (plastic) reinforced with fiber (glass).

Also, I know there are guys on here that have the DECKED system in their 3rd gen beds. (Decked is an official vendor here and they have their own sub-forum.)

I read a few threads that discussed noise from the bed area. I am getting some of this. Mine happens when I close the rear door of the truck and I hear a secondary noise, a type of rattle, in the bed. Very odd. Hard to duplicate the sound. I think I am going to try what others have done: loosen the bed bolts, raise the bed slightly, lubricate or add low friction washers, then re-tighten.

All you have to do is take that wheel off the truck and look at the inside of it. All of this information will be stamped/cast on the inside. This is universal across all manufacturers, just like tires.

Here's a site I've used for years now. Its especially helpful when looking for checking fitment across different manufactures. It breaks down the wheel specs for different models. It's great for buying used wheels for winter setups. Congrats on the new Truck!!

I'm really screwed up here, guys. Talk me off the ledge, please.

Reminder; basic SR5 model. I have the RC front spacer (1.75") installed. Looks decently leveled. My wheel and tire package arrived. 18x9 wheels with +18 offset. Yokohama Geolandar AT/4 LT325/65R18's.

THEY LOOK MASSIVE! WILL THEY FIT?

Sidebar: On my local dealer lot are two SR5's with TRD Off Road package and factory lift. Should I trade in this new truck in on another new truck so I can run my gonzo tires? I'd take a hit, of course.

If I bolt up the new tires and they rub, what am I gonna do? Have any of you done that frame horn cut at the back side of the front fenderwells? Is that hard to do? What's best tool? Sawzall?

**Edit** Not sure how I messed up the Calc but looks like the tire is actually shy of 35", which changes this, so my post below here is not accurate **edit**

No lift right? I would say with almost 100% certainty you're going to have rub and they may not even fit.. That's a nearly 13" wide tire and almost 36" diameter. Even with the 3" lift there's rubbing on a 35x12.5" tire.

I'm not sure how much more offset you have with the new wheels though, but would be very surprised if they fit.

1.75" lift in front. No lift in rear.

    Factory wheels offset = 60. My new wheels offset = 18. Delta = 42 = 1.65".
