    Too many…scratch that…not done yet.
 Yep! I just kept thinking there's some engineer somewhere laughing.
I'll pay someone if there's a next time.

At 49.5k I just replaced the cabin air filter. I don’t know if the dealership did it when I bought the truck in ‘23, with 36k miles, but figured why not. Glad I did:

My DB Customz Halo grill was showing its age lately. First it was the T LEDs going out and then the D started flickering.

Found a guy on Etsy who makes these automotive grade LEDs so he printed out the letters and built the lights for us. My buddy took the grill, removed the old letters and installed the new lighted lettering with the original letters taped to the front of the lights.

I think it came out better than when it was new. Definitely brighter. Will check it out when night falls.

For a good laugh, call a dealership for a quote to change the cabin filter. They wanted to charge us over a hundred dollars.

Nice! I wonder if it's the same guy that makes the Toyota letters for the Pro grille. They are bright but if I got them I can dim them the SPod.

@texasrho83 Finally got my bypass in the mail yesterday after it took a grand tour of the east coast. It shipped from 5 miles away, went all the way to New Jersey, and then back here. WTF.....I'll never understand the USPS.

Washed and waxed her and replaced the cracked antenna grommet. Had to remove 5 fender clips - easy with a small flat blade and a plastic trim tool the one 10 mm bolt holds the antenna to the inside of the fender. Don’t try this without removing the antenna.

    None....

I can personally say with 109% certainty that your dealer didn't replace any filters before you bought it from them. Unless you paid extra for them to do it.

I believe it. I’ve already did all driveline fluid changes and added a tranny cooler, among a few other things. Next up would be a brake fluid and power steering fluid swap.

What exactly does this bypass do?

Video in motion and get you in the setting while moving. Settings are usually locked out unless the radio sense the parking brake is engage. This bypass fool the radio to think the truck is stopped, allowing user to adjust whatever whenever you want.

    For alpine:

Use same seller and search in his store for specific alpine model.

    Jvc, kenwood:
ground the green parking brake wire on the radio to radio's chassis. Or tie into black ground wire..

Well, took the puppers to the dog park on a lovely weekend. Opened all the windows and sunroof. As I'm coming home, the sunroof makes a nasty clicking noise when it tries to go into the low speed position. Tried to shut it when I got home and it won't move. I saw on here there is a TSB for it, but I'm out of the warranty period. I'm pretty upset about it, so I'm going to call around to a few dealers to get quotes. I don't think that is a job I want to tackle myself.

TSB-0042-20 if anyone is interested or has had a similar issue.

I've seen some dealers honor TSB's outside of warranty. Might be worth calling a few in your area.

I'm hoping the one I go to all the time will help me out, but its a 2018 with 57k in miles. I get it as I'm way outside the warranty. And I'm not a very lucky guy.

This is actually a couple months old, but I don't get on here often. This may have been posted before but I have not seen it. I struggled to find a way to install my SG3 cleanly and make it easy to remove it. After a couple of iterations, this is what I settled on. SG3 in an advtr3d mount connected to a RAM cup holder mount that makes use of the otherwise waste of space cup holder. Found a cable coupler on Amazon that was targeted for Landcruiser guys installing radios in their dash. Thankfully Toyota still uses the same size cutouts and this snapped in perfectly. This allows me to remove the SG3 completely if needed without removing the OBDII interface cable from behind the dash.

The exact listing that I purchased from is showing that they are sold out. This link https://www.amazon.com/VelvetunVill...52247&sprefix=landcruiser+rj45,aps,147&sr=8-1 "appears" to be the same thing. For anyone searching, you want an RJ45 coupler that fits a Toyota. The LandCruiser seems to be a popular name brand, but as mentioned, Toyota has not changed the dimensions on dash plugs in quite some time.

Dropped it off today for new tires (falken wild peak at4w 35x11.5x17 replacing nitto ridge grapplers 37x12.5x17 {saving 19 lbs per corner and going to C range from E}) and to get the preload on my King 3.0's reduced as it's set too high. Dropped it off at 6 am today and threw the keys in the lock box, drove by today after the gym around 5 pm and the trucks in the same spot as it was. Hasn't moved, at all. What the heck was the point of me dropping it off today lol grinds my gears to no end. :frusty:

Installed Rancho struts and shocks. The struts raise the front 2", tinted the front windows to match the rears and added a soft bed cover. NAPA has a 20% off coupon if you order online. I ordered the struts and shocks last Thursday morning and they were delivered Friday. The OEM struts and shocks were worn out at 80k miles.

Not to the truck but the kids 2006 4R was intermittently not starting today. I'm hoping this was the issue.
