I'd pull up and deliberately park in between them.......

 

Yall do realize that the small parking spaces are another social engineering project that encourages people to buy smaller cars, right?

There is actually (or used to be) incentives for developers and contractors to do this, along with other things.

Incentives included reduced permit costs, expedited review, lower utility rates (for a limited time), tax credits, etc.

 

Only if you live on the coast. No problems here in pickup truck land.

 

Parking spot size is fine. The issue is the self-entitled morons. Also vehicles, especially trucks, have gotten MUCH larger.

 

And then when they leave, you look like the douchebag.

 

Not if he gets it in the lines.

I have a worn 2008 scion that I love to park between the lines when someone is hanging over.

 

Get a bunch of the lead stick on balancing weights and put them on the inside of the wheels of dumbass people.

 

That is next level naughty. Might make you looking worse than deutchebags who patk wrong.

Not all municipalities buy in, but it’s not limited to any particular region. Coast to coast and everywhere in between.

The only problem w/that ideology is exactly what's happening now w/EVs...

OMG, we don't have enough tax $$$ to pay for infrastructure because all that $$$ we were making on gas taxes is no longer coming in...

I have no interest in the ideology or lack thereof. I just did the job. The most stupid thing was the waterless urinals. Always stink and the concentration of slow moving or static urine is highly corrosive

 

I park at the very outskirt of most lots, preferably in the back next to an island on one side. Wife complains about the distance she has to walk, well worth it in the end.

 

My wife doesn't complain about that anymore, doesn't do any good.

 

We call them 'no dents' parking spots. Sometimes my wife points them out to me. But she likes closer spots too.

Yep, me too. Lessens your chance of a door ding by half. I also get up as close as possible to the curb on the one side to allow the most distance on the other side if someone decides to park next to me.

I laugh at all the mouth-breathers jockeying for a spot right up close so they won't have to walk a few extra steps. No way in hell I'm jamming my truck into that madness. A lot of them even require the use of the motorized scooters to get around because obesity with no underlying condition apparently is a handicap in and of itself.
