I've been a huge fan of the guys at Sherpas Cinema for a long time. They've done things with cinematography that could be considered ground breaking especially within the action sports movie realm. They are one of my sources for inspiration.

One of their first features was All.I.Can. The ski movie that wasn't totally a ski movie. Stunning and beautifully done. In it was one of the most memorable segments I've ever seen featuring JP Auclair. Unfortunately, JP died in 2014 in an avalanche accident.

They just released a new segment that was shot in Nelson BC again using an idea that JP had come up with. It's brilliant and a reminder of why it's necessary to still be a kid even when life tries to tell you not to.

    Here is JP's original segment.

And here's a segment that JP and Wallisch did together for Sherpas latest feature, Into The Mind.

I second that emotion!! I've been a fan as well, but haven't really been tuned in recently. Thanks for posting some new footage.

Also, take a look at The Art of Flight, with Travis Rice as the leading man. Another groundbreaking snowboard movie, even though it's a GoPro sponsored film.

Art of Flight blew the doors of everything that was filmed at that time. Rice is a mad man. Fourth Phase was an okay follow up but it didn't work as well for me as Art of Flight. Here's a few other recommendations...

    Valhalla
    Solitaire
Few Words (Candide Thovex is not human)

Not ski related but definitely worth a viewing.

    Life Cycles
    Sipping Jetstreams
    Castles in the Sky
    180 South
    Come Hell or High Water
    A Brokedown Melody

Art of Flight is still one of my favorites but Imagination is a really great video. Wish I had those skills. Reminds me of my urban shredding days.
