Heritage Grill Screen/Guarding Overlay

Was at an PPF shop the other week. Spotted an TRD PRO that had what looked like an overlay on the Heritage grill that caught my eye.
After scouring online I have been unsuccessful in locating such a product.

Anyone come across something like this?

 

Gonna need a pic or better description to really know what you saw. I've not heard of anything on the grille itself.

Maybe they replaced the grille with an aftermarket insert?

 

My first mistake was to have not taken a pic.

I would liken it to a screen that many people would shroud their grills with to protect their radiator…..

No idea, but it sounds hideous.

 

So was this like a cloth mesh or something?

More details and better descriptors are needed.

Lately I've thought of doing Hydro-dipping my grill. But now I see there is a new aftermarket grill.

LOL, "TRD Pro style".

 

My thoughts exactly. Then again, half the people buying them just say they have a TRD because they don't know there's different TRD packages and such, or they think TRD is a trim on the Tundra because it is on the Taco.

People do no research and don't bother to be correct anymore, and if you give them the correct info they attack you as being some kind of dictator about language. People suck.

 

I had the same grille (except mine was OEM) in my garage for months....couldn't give the thing damn away, so I finally just chucked it in the trash. Couldn't imagine anyone paying $700 for a knock-off. But, as you say "people suck", people are also stupid.

 

Looks like that one has lights, according to the description, so maybe the dolts think that lights make it Pro style?
