Yeah, yeah, yeah. I can't wait until there are a boatload of 150K+mile examples running around on the original engine, original turbos, etc. There will be plenty.
You heard it here first folks.

Whatever this forum told me to do
    agreed.

I watched Steve Vai on Billy Corgan's show.

Smashing Pumpkins were looking for a guitarist...most/all the tryouts were folks just "looking for a gig".

man, that struck a chord with me (pardon the pun)

    That's today's yutes.

When I interview folks, it's the same, they are just looking for a job.

they have no interest in THIS job...just a job.

that hurts my side of the equation, because this is my career!!

I need passion and persistence. not a human robot.

Gov & Gov related jobs push this shitty agenda forward.
they hire gobs of bureaucratic, shitty people, that gobble up salaries and do NOTHING.
you are just a clump of shit.
    do the work.
your propensity for progress is null.

And if you enter a gov related job looking for a kind, rewarding work environment.....I laugh at you.

Y'all pretty much know where I stand on Gov bailing out pensions.

and if you stand back, just a tad....you can see the simple redistribution of wealth.

    sure.

which is the exact opposite of Gov based companies/entities.

    USPS?

I see NASA just lopped off a shitload of do-nothings.

a couple of them are in my 'hood.

they really thought that doing the weenus report was earning those big salaries.

Harris County (Houston) city Gov is a thunderous bunch of incapable shitwads.

I'm seeing it balloon in the power generation industry.

The amount of layers that are built up between the top brass and those of us that physically maintain the money making equipment is mind blowing.

Good thing Hydropower is so lucrative, customers would be paying way more for our power to cover all the overhead.
