For me, it's my RIA 1911. There's nothing wrong with it, I just don't particularly enjoy shooting or carrying it all that much, but I just feel that every gun owner should own a 1911. :D

Tiny and easy to conceal, but doesn't fit my hand and too snappy.

I don’t keep guns I don’t like…if I shoot it and feel meh or hate it…off to the consignment rack where I can turn it into something else I do like

    S&W M&P Shield 2.0.

Horribly unreliable. Slide assembly sticks and holds out of battery causing a dead trigger. And it’s JUST out of battery; visually, you can’t tell that it is out battery until you get a ‘click’ and no ‘boom’. Rack and tap and it will fire, but zero confidence that it will fire when drawn from a holster or when I need to it to.

I’m no pro, but think I have reasonably good basics. I practice slingshotting the slide to send it home rather than depressing the slide release (per some MFG documentation, it’s a slide lock, not a slide release, and it is incredibly difficult to use as a slide release in the shield anyways). I don’t have a habit of riding the slide, either, though that is the first thing I asked an instructor to observe while I practiced reloads. I’ve sent it in to S&W twice with no change.

They got a few. I've decided to punt it. Over 500 rounds through it to properly break it in - per their tech service and dealer recommendations. Still chaps my hide a little bit, but there are plenty of other choices at the counter to choose from.

I had a Kimber TLE/RL that was very problematic. I just couldn't trust it. My brother and father's Kimber custom 1911's were great. Mine...not so much. I sent it back to Kimber a couple times.
I swore I would never own another. Charles @texasrho83 had one for sale that almost made me break that promise to myself.

Ha. I've come THIS close to purchasing a full-size M&P 10mm at least a half dozen times but every time I pick one up, it reminds me of the shield and I walk away. FWIW, my M&P15 Sport II runs like a champ (really the reason I purchased the shield). Though it's still a sporting rifle that only comes out to play because S&W.

Though, I think if I could ever get my hands on a Bren Ten, that would probably make every other gun my least favorite one...

S&W make great weapons. Kimber does too. We are the ones that purchased the weapons on a Monday manufacture date.

I’m absolutely pleased with this Kimber .45. The trigger is smooth and breaks at about 3.5lb, extremely accurate and very easy to shoot. My only negative is the size, lol. You’re not gonna easily conceal it and it makes a noticeable pull on your belt.

Answer to the OP ; my least favorite is also the Ruger LCP, at least for shooting. It’s the easiest to cc though, and weighs very little.
10+1 is pretty good too. I just keep shooting it and stay familiar with it so it will do what needs to be done if conditions call for it

Oddly enough. My Beretta M9. I bought it because it was an actual serialized M9, which has personal nostalgia, not an FS92 posing. Im pretty good with it. Yet Its my least favorite handgun out of my available choices. It now lives disassembled in a case.

my glock 23, I sometimes enjoy the 40 cal kick, but my brother just got a nice litte 9mm something & really wish I had something like that for concealed carry , damn glock is just too big for my stomach/groin holster (my round ass belly doesnt help either)

    I have a g23 also as well as a Walther pps in.40.
I strongly recommend you try the g43x. Accurate, concealable and dependable.

Beretta APX A1 carry, size is good, functions well, has a horrible trigger. Got a smoking deal on it but hate it. I should get rid of it. I second the g43x, slim and better grip than g26, easily concealed.

I put 3 more on consignment, including my 1911. Now I have my eye on a bunch of things.

CT has a dumbass 3 gun a month rule, so I'll have to wait a couple more weeks until I can actually buy something.

I got a first gen Glock 27 .40 I bought back in 98-99 it may have 250 rounds max. Its snappy for small grip doesn't like full size mags I carried as a back up forever just don't love the egos and trigger but I'm a nerd and am attached to it for the nostalgia.

I have a g23C and stopped carrying it a while ago. The .40 is too snappy for me to enjoy shooting. I also have a .40 walther pps. Easier to cc but still not much fun to shoot

I have considered sigs many times but I can’t keep track of which ones will shoot the operator by mistake or have recalls or other fixes or might not have any problems at all?

Glock 29. Sounds cool, but I have big hands and that thing bit me more than it didn't. Maybe could have used the standard, downloaded 10mm stuff, but then you might as well carry a .40.
