No issues... So far! Stillen Cold Air Intake Mass Air Flow Sensor

I dont think I would have any issues with a dry filter in Fl. Hell the OEM filters are dry.

 

The link that @therealjonwick posted is what I bought when I got my Stillen then I bought a 2nd one used from Amazon just to do a quick swap while the other one dries. The used ones are $20 cheaper than new and just as good as a brand new one. Save yourself $20

Yeah After taxes, the first one I bought came out to just over $100, plus I got the pre filter wrap for it.

 

Its crazy for sure. I still may get one anyway. Hell, with the money I spent in the last several weeks with new suspension, UCA's, DD SS3 Pro fogs, an Alpine Halo, and an SPod, what's another $100 Lol.

I haven't installed them yet. I also did the SS3's on both 4Runners.

 

Nice! I think I did see your post about that this past week.

 

How do you think the AFE performs compared to the filter that the Stillen came with. It seems like you would get more air.

 

I can't really give you an accurate comparison between the two as far as intake temps since I went straight with the AFE but yeah, I think the AFE would suck in more air by the the way it's designed.
One thing I can say though is the quality and material with the AFE compared to the K&N that it came with is definitely better. Buy it used for $70 and it'll most likely look brand new. I wasn't disappointed with the used one that I got.

 

Is the 6 inch length tube long enough for the front or do I need the 12 inch and cut it to length.

 

For my Stillen the 6" was long enough
