There are some wild drivers in NorCal... in the Fremont area, where I worked, almost every other Sunday morning there was wrecking crews cleaning up the night's prior fiery crash. It got to the point where I would jump off the highway and take side streets to work...

The wildest one I ever saw, was some dude jump the tracks at an excessive speed. Well him and his 97 Avalon ended up on top of a tree, leaning on someone's roof. Took a power unit out, blacking out my work building... I'm sure damages were well over 1mil. They brought out a huge crane to bring the car off the tree. The tree unded up being uprooted and removed. Crazy stuff.

You are not kidding. I did the Santa Clara to Fremont drive for 30 years. I worked near Tesla and NUMMI and all the other things that that plant has been. The Tesla employees themselves drive like aholes. Most from Oakland so..............

I saw this on Reddit, I'm thinking it was ripped apart elsewhere & dumped. No way anyone walked away from that.

Driving in Cali is nuts. As an outside observer, whats its like to drive with zero care for your own well being? haha. Was in Palm Springs and drove on the freeways lots, is there a speed limit, not that I could see, do your cars have turn signals, I doubt it, are there yearly inspections to keep questionable vehicles off the road, I don't think so. Truly the wild west of traffic if I ever saw one.

Nice, did the same drive for 5 years, before I transferred. I lived behind the smart & final on Camino Real. Waliking distance to that new, at the time, chic fil a next to where that new building burned down, got an interesting side story for a later time.. Used to take the 880 by Santa Clara University where people kept knocking that stop light over, lol.. it wouldn't last a month up. Lawrence Expressway was the 2nd option, took this when I lost my brakes, lol.. late at night no one was around.

We were neighbors! Lived on Scott for years until I bought near Saratoga and Scott. Kids and ex are still there, I can't take it anymore. Growing up somewhere very nice and watch it fill up with IDIOTS is a tough thing.
The 90 degree exit off of Bascom towards SCU always has wreckage if you are talking about that one.

Neighbors for sure, I got there when the dummies were already there.
    Bascom? Yes it did..
I was talking about the Alameda/El Camino Real on ramp.

I gotcha. They are all ancient designs, but I don't remember people crashing so bad so frequently. Its all the time now. Greater speeds nowadays obviously a part of sometimes the total destruction we see.
I feel safe in the ole Tundras though!
