Finally happened. Someone turned in front of me at an intersection and could not avoid them. Thankfully everyone involved was ok. Any opinions on if this will get fixed or totaled?

Passenger door won’t open and the front end got pushed into the wheels so can’t turn the steering wheel to the left. No airbags deployed though.

It doesn't look terrible, but will depend on what is binding the wheel and the door. Also will depend on your insurance as to if they fix said issues or if they rather write it off. Lot of unknowns.

Glad you are okay and hopefully the process is quick so you don't get left in limbo.

Sorry to see this but glad everyone is ok. Will probably depend whether or not the frame got damaged or buckled. Had air bags gone off it would almost assuredly have been totaled. How many miles? It’s a 4x2 as well so that will be a bit of a drop in value. Just depends on how much the insurance company deems that it’s worth and then the added up expenses of the repairs. Hope it turns out the way you want it to

Just hit 36k miles. Worked from home for about 3 years after I got it so wasn’t driving it much until now

My 07 was repaired 2 years ago with 270k fender, door skin, frame, bumper and a frame pull on passenger door. Corolla tried 4wheeling up my fender.

Nobody hurt, that's great! Looks like a repair given the value of the truck. I'll say it will be really close though. Looks like far north of 15k in repairs by a shop. If totaled, buy it back and fix her up. Too few miles to let it go. Keep us posted!

Will do. It’s getting towed over to the collision place today so hopefully I’ll
hear back next week on repair costs

The whole airbags totaling a vehicle cracks me up. My son got in a wreck and deployed his airbag in his car and it cost me $122 to replace the airbag myself. Had the bodyshop we used for some new panel repaint work reset the SRS. New seatbelt tensioner was also needed. $85 in the matching color, 2 bolts to replace.

Glad to hear that everyone is okay. Hopefully you'll be able to repair the Tundra.
