    I have a Rockford amp but I did not try unplugging the remote knob to see what happens.

    Corroded speaker wire and bad solder joints on both rear speaker terminals.

    So the plastic Metra dash kit didn't last long. It's cracked around 2 of the mounting bolts...probably from the washboard roads at Big Bend State Park. How is the Dasaita holding up? Will the metra pocket fit with the Dasaita brackets?

    Any other steel dash kit options?
