Hey guys I just figured I’ll show everyone my tail lights I had bought a while back off eBay. I’ve had no problems with them and have been asked by a bunch of people if they are oem. They look really good at night and during the day they look completely oem.

I’ve changed all my interior and exterior lights to a high quality white leds. There is zero blue in the leds so they also look more oem than aftermarket. Does anyone know of a good looking 3rd brake light? Something similar to a f150 raptor taillight would be perfect.

I bought them for about $30 for both sides just to see if I’d like it. I thought the same thing before putting them on but once I did I liked the way it looked and even the font matches. One of the guys that work at the dealer even put them on his white platinum after seeing mine. To each his own tho.

no biggie, if you enjoy it that's great. but my preference is a clean look. less to worry about done the road. especially paint fade etching the letters into the bed.

Just curious, how are these holding up one year later? Any condensation inside? They look pretty good and would match up well with the LED head lights!

Nice score OP! I've been following aftermarket tails for a while. I've seen these mainly in black. I really like the OEM look with eagle eye LEDs inside. It's too bad QC is inconsistent, otherwise I wouldn't hesistate. Same ones on eBay, different seller (they're probably all made from the same manu). Hopefully yours have longevity.

Too bad those Platinum letters are associated with Ford and F150 guys will do the double take. They do look nice on the bedside since Toyota makes the same name trim. As long as you're happy, all that counts.

    Yep, nothing beats OEM reliability.
I’d gamble if the price is right.

No issues so far. We’ve had a lot of rain lately and no issues with moisture ingress so that’s a relief.

I guess go with just the led tail light bulbs instead. No messing around.
