Inverter is a topbull 2kw pire sine.

i got a 200a fuse, and a fuse holder for my 10a charge controller, and i’m thinking a 20a fuse for that.

A few... Definitely more than 2
If this is your inverter, that looks like only a remote switch plug, so you don't have to press the switch on the body inside your box.

Oh, thanks. Yea, dont need that. Just trying to add a diplay on the outside of the box.i have no clue where that owners manual is. I just know i havent put it in my truck file yet.

maybe i just need a kill-a-watt thing on the end of my primary extension cord. Less holes on the box.

    Now we’re cooking with fire.
    IMG_1496.jpg
imagine the pucker factor. Out of curiosity, could i connect em parallel for the inverter, but wire em in series for a different circuit?

No BMS? Without a battery management system to keep the LiFePO4 batteries balanced you risk fire and explosion. This comes up all the time on the modified golf cart forums. That's why 36v and 48v cart batteries are single units with a built in BMS, not individual batteries. Be careful.

Is the plan to have the components all share that box for transportation only? Will the lid be kept on or off when charging? Any plan for vent holes in the box if the lid is being used? The batteries will warm up a bit and the charge unit will create a lot of heat that the cooling fans will need ventilation to get rid of. You crafty, so I know you got plans.

Ive got a 12v .35A vent fan, but the box can be opened. Might build a shelf above to keep my cords and adapters.

Man. So if someone has bigger tires and regeared we should just give up finding our MPG huh lol. I was back to being happy with my MPG after the x1.06. Heck even happy since fixing the exhaust leak.

Actually still happy. I drive a best gen

Only the tire size (diameter) effects the speedometer reading on the later models.

    Gear ratio does not.

The earlier models that don't use the wheel speed (abs) sensors to calculate speed are effected by both.

You started earlier than me. We just had our first child Sunday. I'm 37. I'll( hopefully) be in my 60's when she's married.

Congrats to you and your family.

I was 24 years old when my son was born, and 26 when my daughter was born.

And congrats on your first born!! Swore you had kids already. At 24, I made a lot of dumb mistakes along the way cause we were really young. They turned out fine anyway, so oh well. That’s life, can’t be too hard on yourself.

    Congrats again, dude!

Hopefully you guys have been getting some rest. Helps to take shifts, I would let mama crash out after 9pm feeding, and I'd take the midnight/1am so she could sleep a solid 5-6 hours. Made a huge difference in both our mental states. Not having the baby in the same room, and giving the kid a dark room with a sound machine helped tremendously too. The Moms on Call book had all these suggestions, we were miserable the first week until we took their advice.

    Congratulations, young man!

I'm 43 with 7 kids (6 daughters, 1 son) ranging from 20 to 7 (none married). You can do math if you'd like. I just know that I can't wait to get son-in-laws so that I can abuse them with things I want done around the house :D

Did some trails in Colorado a few weeks ago on vacation. We ended up taking my wife’s van for comfort sake, so I didn’t get to take the truck on anything. We rented jeeps and it was a good time. Did one trail called paradise pass that was just awesome. It’s right between crested butte and aspen.

Made me happy for my V8, even though I talk crap about the horsepower. The jeep I was driving was hurting on the highway trying to turn those 35s.

Also - thanks to everyone who helped with my chainsaw conundrum a few weeks ago: I peeled it totally apart, cleaned it, new plug, and put it all back together (which was a win itself - fitting piston rings into a cylinder turns out is a little tough without the right tools). No start. Crap. Called a small engines guy in town to see when I could get it in. He said he didn't have time, but text him the symptoms. He replied and said just throw a new carb at it. Amazon carb $37 later and it starts right up. I know - I would never use a scamazon part on the truck, but for a chainsaw, I'm game. Fired it up at 9 pm in my neighborhood last night, so I couldn't rev it up or tune at all. Gonna start it after work today and get the settings right. I bought a digital tach too, so I can tune the RPM, which is something cool I've never done before. Never stop learning amigos.

I was 35 when we had our first, IIRC. So it's not just you guys. It took a while to find someone I could actually trust not to bounce after, and truth be told, I was having tons of fun working and traveling all over the globe for work, so I wasn't really focused on it.

People are waiting longer to have kids these days. Actually, correction. People from Gen X and the margins of Gen X were having kids late. Gen Y and younger just aren't having kids, or drinking, or having sex. Can't afford it. "Too much college debt, wages too low, how the hell am I gonna afford a kid, much less a cocaine bender with hookers?!"

I'm not gonna directly say what I could say right now, I'll just leave this here:

PS - it's always a good idea to run a little HEET (the red bottle one) in your tank once every half dozen fill-ups or if the chainsaw sits for a couple months. Will help any water/condensate that's managed to collect inside the tank. It happens. It'll help clear any water that would otherwise settle in the bowl.

Good call on the carb. I was hoping a cleanout would work, but my guess is my clumsy raccoon paws probably did more damage than good when I took the oem carb out and cleaned it. Yeah I'm doing what I can to make sure good stuff only goes into the engine. 93 octane. Husqvarna 2 stroke oil. I'll add the HEET to the list.

EDIT - One thing I am hoping does help is that I cleaned off all the cooling fins on the cylinder block. I'm sure those were holding so much heat because they were just caked with oil and fine sawdust. Basically totally insulating the cylinder so that it stayed at hot as possible while milling huge oak logs in Texas in the Summer. nice.

I'm doing a timing belt, water pump and camshaft seals on my 2006 DC. I thought that I had the parts that I need until.. On page EM-35 of the FSM, I see that there is a seal washer under the screw plug.
The screw plug is 90110-12010. What is the P/N of the seal washer? @shifty` can you please help?upload_2025-8-12_18-56-59.png
