Was driving to tech school (back then, college now) and working full time on opposite ends of the Twin Cities at the time.
Racked up 165K on that truck before I sold it, but not before it came back from a near, but not quite insurance total. Drunk rear ended it when parked in front of my parent's house on Thanksgiving.
BANG! *Looks out front window* "Huh, my truck's gone." Ended up in neighbor's front yard literally inches from hitting a tree, which WOULD have totalled it.
At least I got it repainted in a nicer color.
