Is there room to get your hitch pin in and out? I've got a locking one, so maybe a little bigger. I like the looks of this and just took a glance at mine and it seems like they are right where the hitch pin needs to be while inserting.

DANG IT @sandiegosteve I didn’t even think of that. I got all excited about how they fit and clearance for safety chains I forgot about the pin.

Ugh back to the drawing board

Once the pin is in it might not need to come out. I leave mine in all the time so that I have something to whack my shins on.

Maybe just a little lower and it would clear. I'm sure you'll find a good option.

I've been looking at the Garmin too... the fact that it can autodetect reverse sounds very cool. Did you have to run a wire to the unit for that, or does it have some magic for reverse in general?

I may just remove the spacer and the pin would be in front of the lights. That or longer spacer to have the pin behind them.

Yes I had to run a separate wire for the input on the Garmin. I tapped into the beige wire on the trailer 7-pin harness and ran it alongside the Baja harness. Pretty easy.

Installed some rough country seat covers. They fit great for $250. Definitely going to get rid of the RC logos by putting patches over them or by peeling the sticker off. Very happy with the results - huge improvement over my broke boy, grey cloth interior. Now I want to black out the headliner and grab handles lol.

Got these 1/4" SS Pin locks for recovery hooks, there really isn't any room to cut them off so they should be good to go.

I'm kinda on the fence and would like to hear ya or na on them.
    TIA.

My opinion, I would just leave the hooks off all together and put them on only when you need them. Those locks will freeze over time and you won’t be able to remove them. I did the same with a locking hitch pin.

Couldn’t beat that price and I’ve had nothing but good experiences with them so far. The interior smells like a spirit of Halloween rn but that should go away soon.

How do you like your antennae mount? I'm guessing GMRS ghost antennae? I haven't had time to put mine on.

It works. I'd have liked to put it on my 3rd brake light area for ground plane and more elevation, but for starters, I don't want to drill a hole in my roof. 2nd, the new mount that came out for a 3rd brake light and chase light mount is $1k.

    So this works just fine.

    Yes, Midland GMRS antenna.

Installed Banks I data pro and pedal monster. Should have done this from start. Truck feels like it should have from factory now. No dead pedal.

    Thanks,

The next step is to finally de-chrome the front end, and after that the exterior should be where I want it.

BUT, bumpershellz are expensive, and I've got the material to gloss black HyperDip (same product as my wheels) the mustache and "fangs".

    So we shall see.

Those look great there! do they interfere with the tow hooks? Might steal your idea once again. :)

I like that you kept an offsetting mustache color. The match works on some colors but I lean towards the classy look of original.

No the tow hooks work find, but I did not take into account the hitch pin hole with is now covered. I have to either push them back 1/2" or so to clear or pull them forward an 1" or so to put the pin behind them.

A project for next Saturday along with my SDHQ behind the grill mounting of a Baja OnX6 30", 2 10" Baja Onx6, and 1 S8 amber. I'm hoping the stealth behind the grill will turn out ok.

Started the process on de-chroming my 25 Limited.. Picked up cheap ebay emblem overlays to see how they would do, and they actually turned out fantastic. Glad I don't have to plastidip, and HECK of a lot cheaper than bumpershellz. Tailgate overlay is from Amazon, also massively cheaper than bumpershellz. Picked up a few yards of the Evolve Lunar Rock wrap to do the rear bumper, door handles, and front chrome, and gloss black 3M from amazon to do the chrome around the windows.

This is old, so apologies.. But is this OEM? I really want to add one to my limited if possible, but wasn't sure what was out there that its aftermarket. Looks fantastic with the camo pattern.

Yes, I swapped out for the OEM TRD Pro spoiler and used a Rave wiring harness. Took all the parts off, sold them, and now I have a TRD Pro.
