I bought a 304T stainless MBRP knockoff off Ebay and installed it. Looks good to me except for the tailpipe wants to angle down more than what I want. I've watched several videos on the install of the MBRP and I've done exactly as they have done. I went back and looked at those videos and some of them do have the tailpipe angling down. You can move the tailpipe to look right, but once you drive it around it comes back down. Everything is bolted up tight. I was wondering if someone has the MBRP system and was able to figure out how to make the tailpipe come out from the body straighter? I'm thinking I might have to adjust the rear hanger.

The hangers won't really adjust per say, they just hang straight down, or hang down according to how the exhaust is welded; which in your case its welded to angle down at the tailpipe, the hanger won't change that, you'd have to switch the hanger out for something shorter potentially? I can't see the hanger in the photos so I can't really recommend anything different

I added another pic. That would be with the tailpipe pushed up.

yeah because that rear hanger is two on top and one on bottom you can't really move it to the side; you could take it to your local exhaust shop and see how much they would quote you to adjust the hanger to get the angle how you want it

This doesn't seem right. The exhaust has settled down and it's pointing down. Maybe I need to go back in and try turning20250807_201013b.jpg 20250817_200755.jpg it more to the left.

Again… look at the rubber hanger, you’ve got it turned up, but the second you drive the truck it’s going to fall back to hanging directly down (gravity); so you’ll need to shorten the hanger

This is the hanger just past the muffler, not the hanger holding the tail pipe. I've already been driving around and the tail pipe has dropped into its position. That's what I'm saying, "gravity" has already happened and this rubber hanger is sideways. Seems to me that I need to loosen the pipe and take it off the rubber hanger. Then I'll try to see if I can turn the pipe more toward the center of the truck and hopefully the rubber hanger will come down.

Ohhhhh that’s how the hanger is sitting after driving? See if you can loosen all the bolts connecting each piece and you might be able to clock it how you want it

You just need the clamps tighter. It's twisting at one of the joints behind the muffler.
