There's a whole lot PC talk going on in here. I'll stay the fck out with my 10 year old Lenovo laptop and 5 year old external video case that has seen less action than the tits on a nun.

Finally got my Denso 02 upstream sensors ordered from Rockauto after waiting on email from them for several days to only find out my bank was responsible for trying to get a CC confirmation via an outdated phone number. Sigh.

Not to alarm anyone but upstream O2 sensors are now discontinued by the manufacturer for the 00-04 Tundras. How long until Denso stops making them? IDK

My carb days are behind me after jamming too many screwdrivers into the throttle plate to get a flooded carb going.

This is the style a buddy has on his first gen taco. He even pulls the camper shell off from time to time with the rack in place without any issues. Adding a piece of angle iron on either side would be easy enough.

I was just showing off the crossram. Easier to get to than a dual quad or itb.

Sirfives swap of the day: an AMC dogleg 401 with a crossram, tied to on of those mcleod american 5-speeds. Maybe get marlin to adapt a gear venors overdrive.

Real question is what sort of thermal grease or wax do I need to surround these shafts? @FrenchToasty ?

Edit: Nevermind. They’re sealed so I’ll fish out the old which is now the consistency of ear wax and put in the blue bottle of 3 in 1 oil for small motors.

I just accidentally figured out how to make super tasty pastrami. Boil it in a covered pot long enough for the water to evaporate but not burn the pastrami to the bottom.

I accidentally left it boiling for 45 minutes to an hour before discovering it.

Tasted better than what I buy from a sub shop who typically fry it.

Haha…no. The red pastrami was bought at the local market. I was just making pastrami and cheese on a sourdough roll.

MMMM yummy. Steaming is a great way to finish a slow smoked pastrami.

The Merc is chilling. Slowly acquiring parts so that in can do a lil resto on it. The issues more so the rarity of the parts in the states. And engine stuff is $$$ because it’s the same engine as a 190sl

The industry standard it to notch the fiberglass drip overhang. Not the absolute best idea, but that's the only option. I've looks at many of the notches up close and it doesn't look too bad. I will say that i'd much rather own a fiberglass canopy with the notch in it, than own a goofy looking universal corrugated aluminum canopy. There's going to be a foam seal installed between the bottom of the canopy and the top of the rails, so that should keep the bed fairly dry.

I got my 2nd mr2 I ever bought on the road. (This car was bought tot be a parts car) 1ar (2.7l 4 cylinder from a 2015 venza) swapped and its manual swapped. Originally was an auto mr2. Just got plates today. ~230hp were guessing with the Camry hybrid cam and balance shaft delete.

This car is a whole lot of hand me down parts and all. Full cost including the car and all the swap stuff + body panels I’ve had to source is under 6500

you can peep the other 93 I just got for free and my OG in the background
