    We have several “white noise” makers in our house. We like the Dohm Classic model. It is not digital noise, there is actually a fan in it.

    The downside to this is that if someone is doing the “door kick challenge” that I’ve read about (I need to stop reading), then you may not hear them.

    This is untrue, I have taken all of your good advice:

    handgun model purchase;

    laser ammo training kit;

    Pistol stance;

    gardening advice;

    use of emojis;

    :monocle:probably more that I don’t recall at the moment. :cheers:

    You are the execption and not the rule, and I'll own my mistake on that one :bowdown:

    Specifically, I was pointing toward @nobodyintexas and his driveway turn around issues :D

    Even though him and I are 'simpatico' as he would put it when it comes to cheese!

    I had a lumbar puncture about 4 months ago, to measure CSF pressure. It's a large gauge needle directly through the dura into the fluid around the bottom of the spinal cord, and they measure pressure by sitting there for a few minutes while the CSF fills a tube to this level or that. A very experienced guy did it, but without the aid of any imaging. "Let me know if there's any pain in your legs". There was, as the needle 'brushed' the nerve bundles at the bottom of my spinal cord. He moved the needle around in there until there "wasn't any pain". I don't like sedatives (except whiskey), and apparently I like proving how much of a macho turdmuncher I can be, so I went without. 0/10 did not like.

    I can relate to this. Very much so. Maybe not the Canadian cheese part - which the thought sounds grosser than American cheese. No offense to you Snow Mexicans. Or offense. Whatever.

    This morning, I'm adding another person to the list of those who don't like me. I'm letting go of an employee, which is the part I like least about my job. I once laid off 40 people after becoming COO of a medium/small-ish company. Didn't bat an eye. Now it keeps me up at night letting go of one person.

    I never had fresh pimento cheese until about 5 years ago. I hated that shit when I was a kid, but it was all the gooey shit that came in a tub. My mom loved it, so she made us sandwiches for lunch out of it. She also made us eat boiled okra, so it was part of a pattern. Anyway, fresh pimento cheese made with sharp cheddar is great. It's good on a chip, but it's good on a burger too.

    Yeah, I mean look at bacon compared to Canadian bacon. Making it Canadian makes it worse, for sure.

    for the past couple months...

    Mid Morning - I've been drinking green tea (bought a metric ton box at Costco)

    it's supposed to make me skinny & smart.

    neither has happened.

    please advise.

    I think it’s a maintainer, not an add mental capacity drink.

    My recent thing is just coffee with 1% for breakfast;

    eating breakfast later, not immediately, not until 11 after working out, no lunch;

    same thing every day — Coaches Oats with organic strawberries and walnuts.

    Metamucil at some point; Pom juice or beet juice; water;

    waiting later helps me eat less each day, because I like to eat. I think my metabolism is still :bananadead: without an early breakfast

    What if it helps your mental stamina? Would you drink it then?

    It probably does help you lose weight too. I think it's called bulimia.

    I just noticed the latest batch of shrimplets in the aquarium. Sorry for the crappy photo quality but there are 5-6 of them in this pic. They are tiny!

    I was pretty bummed thinking my colony was dying out but thankfully I was wrong.

    So I did have to look that one up. I definitely don't put it on my toast, but I can't say that I haven't been involved with the usage of it. :rolleyes:
