That's a good idea. Maybe @snivilous could do some button switches in that panel as an option also

This is why I have the blank faceplate as an option since @Boneskull420 reached out asking if that could be done so he could customize it. And then I figured I'd put on the website the "Custom" options so people can reach out and I can add cut outs for whatever they want with a slight upcharge (or no upcharge and they can make their own cut outs). I had never thought of using that area for anything besides gauges, but obviously that's a feature some people want, so if someone wants switches they either do it themselves or just email me saying this is what they want to do. There's already a half dozen options on the site, adding more to cover all the bases would become endless!

As for the truckers cap, I don't usually wear hats so hadn't thought of that, but could certainly do some down the line!

    Hmmmm...
    Like the gauge mount.
But I really haven't thought about a boost gauge for the Magnusson.
Which is strange since I had one in my Tacoma with the TRD SCer.
So who's using what as far as the Gauge brand goes?

    Hmmmmm.....
If I'm buying a mount for a gauge it would be in my best interest to find out which one is going to fit the Damn thing.
    But thats just me....

@snivilous are you only capable of cutting out metal parts or can you do plastic or lexan also?

seems like part that may be a good candidate for a 3d printer

    Yeah...3D printing kicks Ass!!
You're pretty much only limited to your imagination.
From what I understand they have machines that can print in metal these days.
But again I'm no expert by any stretch
    Machining is my game.

I like the Innovate PSB-1 since it shows both boost and AFR in one gauge, and has a clean nearly factory look to it. Ultimately it's all down to aesthetics though, plenty of people run AEM and other brands, I just don't like how they look.

Depends on the part size, I have a small 3-axis mill that I could use to cut plastic, and as others said 3D printing is an option. Though generally I try to avoid 3D printing just because it's really slow and I have much faster tools that can usually do the job. And I have a variety of shops and contacts for manufacturing components that are beyond what I can do at home.

Kinda sounds like working with castings.
You get the basic shape from the casting and machine the close tolerance areas.
Although I dont like machining castings for the most part unless they're high quality castings.
I've ran some that had super hard spots and voids the size of golf balls!!!
Not to mention the mess they make!!
You had to wear a respirator or you'd have Black Lung by the end of the day!!!
And if they didnt chip out the machine every night you'd show up to a solid mass of rusted together chips.
Of course that wasnt my problem it was the Shop hands....

Does it work off the Opaque hard plastic tubing?
I remember with the TRD/Magnuson SCer for my Tacoma it was a pain in the ASS to work with!!!
The slightest bend and it would kink choking off the pressure flow.
You'd have to heat it up with a piece of bailing wire or coat hanger through it to make it hold its shape and you had to use a heat gun so it would bend rather than kink.
I mean I get why you needed a hard plastic line so it would read accurately but it still sucked to work with!!!

It has a map sensor in the engine bay. Run a wire to the gauge.
    A little search:

Nice....so it sounds like it'll work better than the old plastic line.
And this is for the Magnuson?

Tube comes off of the port on SC to MAP sensor gets converted to an electrical signal to gauge.

    The shirts are awesome!

    upload_2025-8-6_19-34-0.png

No complaints all day, no smelling bad and holding sweat like other shirts I've bought, I'm very happy with them! Threw them up on the website at $25 a pop! The couple people that ordered a gauge in the past 24 hours, if by chance you want a shirt let me know and I'll give you a code to take off shipping so I can throw it in the box with the gauge mount.

    https://www.snivspeedshop.com/product/og-shirt

In the future I'll have different shirts, next will probably be with the Tundra artwork of the supercharger out of the hood. Also, shirts are really expensive, I wish I could do cheaper shirts but $25 seems like at the absolute limit, and then for the best I can tell the cheapest I can ship anything is right at $10, so between the shirt and shipping and taxes you're knocking on $40 which seems insane, and I'm not making any money on that.

Also got a new batch of stickers in with the "Sniv Speed Shop" text, so the swag that is included in every order has been expanded one more unit.

    upload_2025-8-6_19-36-55.png

The supercharger dude and the Tundra with supercharger out hood are also showing up in a week or so as 3" round stickers, so every order will end up with 6x stickers/magnets plus candy!

And lastly, I had to buy some different size boxes which show up tomorrow, then most of the 2014-2021 gauge mounts will get sent out. I also cut out little bend guide plates for the flat pattern stuff.

    upload_2025-8-6_19-38-48.png

@jhrrld yours will hopefully go out Friday or Saturday assuming painting goes smoothly.

I'm really looking forward to getting feedback from people on these. I've also been timing myself on doing stuff, and the bent/welded options will probably have to double or more in price. It takes a lot of time between welding the seams, grinding them smooth, checking for any pin holes and fixing that, then cleaning up with the orbital. The flat pattern options won't jump up in price much since they're pretty fast to do, but once you add in an hour of labor, cost of metal and consumables, packaging, etc. it really adds up!

I appreciate everyone's support, orders, and comments in this thread and elsewhere! It really means a lot and makes it enjoyable to keep doing stuff like this, since as you probably know this is far from paying my bills, and if it wasn't for it being fun I wouldn't keep trying to develop products and help the community.

How would you describe the fit of the shirts? Carhartt or frat boy? Asking so I know what size to order.

If he has a machine that will cut metal he can cut plastics.

I assume frat boy is tight? they're pretty loose, I'm wearing a XL because it's longer, but the large fit fine unless I lifted my arms up. Though I don't have a beer belly and was born in the 90s :p

I think if you're thiccq or are 6ft tall a XL is probably better, if you have a shorter torso and aren't thiccq a large would be fine. Wife wears a large fine and is preggo so
