I recently bought a 2015 tundra limited, I didn't notice until i got pulled over that my tail running lights were out.... well as I was looking into the issue I discovered my license plate lights and the 2 inner parking assist sensors are not working.

    What does work......
-The 2 outer sensors on the rear bumper (I confirmed by covering tape over each sensor)
-My brake lights, turn signals, and reverse lights work, including the top 3rd brake light
-All of the front lights and front parking sensors work
-trailer plug (had a trailer on it before I got pulled over and all the lights on the trailer were working)
    -Hazard lights
    -reverse camera

I checked the fuses and relays, all are good. I tried replacing the bulbs, nothing, then I used a multimeter and no power in each of the sockets on the non working items. The only modification I did was replace the license bulbs with LEDs. Other then bringing it in i'm not sure what else to look for..... any help is appreciated

    Too many, but not enough....
Did you put in cheap LEDs? These trucks are picky about bulbs. I had significant rear camera picture quality issues when I had Amazon LEDs in the license plate bulb locations and reverse lights. When I switched to vleds all the weird stuff went away.

One of the few things that are common with those items is the 8 pin SR1 connector. It's located at the rear LH side but 2 of the 8 conductors deal with S5 Rear LH side Blind Spot Monitor sensor(Rear Bumper LH side corner) which was not mentioned. May not be your issue but I'd take a close look at that SR1 connector.

I would try replacing leds with stock bulbs and see if things return to normal.

@MadMaxCanon I took the LEDs out and havent put anything back in it yet.

@BubbaW also, might be a dumb question but how do i check these connectors to see if they are bad? and Do yall think there is a body control module that runs this stuff? I also found this diagram andit shows a TAIL relay. i dont see this relayint he engine fuse box and its not in the cab fuse boxupload_2025-8-8_14-13-7.png
