I mean, this is what's showing up at TPD for that part code - "B" colors are usually blacks/greys:

They're worth the lack of hassle. Don't make me link you back thru the madness Dakillacore went through trying to get a very tiny variation in aftermarket shoes causing major issues with binding/operations. All because one little part was off by less than a millimeter.

If you choose to ignore this advice, or if you get aftermarket springs, if you find any difference in spring shapes/sizes between OEM and whatever you have, stick with the OEM. There's a few aftermarket springs using alternate shapes that don't work worth a shit.

But I guess I'd ask: Why are you changing your shoes? Are they worn? We have some people on here like KNABORES who are at 250k+ miles and still on his factory shoes.

EDIT: It's also worth asking, are you talking about SHOES or PADS? Shoes are inside your drums. Pads are inside your calipers. I see both being used interchangeably above, when they're absolutely not.

If you need pads, the ADVICS pad kit has everything you need and is priced competitively. ADVICS is the OEM supplier for that part to Toyota.

 

I have FB11 trim code. I'm dark charcoal.
He has FJ11. I suspect he's medium grey.

Both are trim "11", but different colors. As if the second digit is the shade variation.

 

Fentress County near KY border. Beautiful area and lots of history.

There is also a massive cave nearby that we've been in. 7-8 miles long.

 

I bet this is what it looks like up inside Conor McGregor's nose on any given day, at least here lately.

 

Cool. I know this area has a lot of caves this and surrounding states. Went to Mammoth Caves when I was in middle school. My coworker was a spelunker and him and his wife did a lot of cave mapping throughout TN, KY, AL, MI and NC. Unfortunately he passed in a car accident last year. I listened to so many of his stories on different cave adventures.

Highway 41 between Tullahoma and Shelbyville has a major dip in the road that they keep trying to repair. During one of those repairs, he was checking mapping a cave about 200 yards from them. He came back out and told the foreman that there was a cave system that travelled under the road and was the most likely cause to the sinking problem. They dug down and started to fill in the area under the road with rock, which helped for awhile. They came back later and then pumped concrete in to fill the voids in the rock. Still a noticeable dip in that area but they haven't had to repair it in the last 3 years so far.

 

Are we talking rear brake shoes or front pads? Didn't know Toyota offered other than the original organic for rears?
