I swapped out my A/C compressor in the rain. Tomorrow I'll change out the drier and put a vacuum on it and hopefully be able to service the refrigerant.

What’s the reason you changed the compressor?

A/C quit working. Compressor wouldn't rotate when A/C got turned on.

Ohhh yeah compressor is done so you gotta change everything

just make sure you lube all the ac orings with ac oil; did you check the level of oil in the compressor before you put it on?

since you aren’t changing the condenser at least try to brake clean and blow it out as best as possible, if those metal shavings stay in there you’ll be doing this again in 3 months
