All joking aside, I know good people in Spokane. But that city was in the news last year for some crazy crap the city council was pulling.

Not shopping for land specifically this time around. This year is about getting to know the area and the vibe. Hoping to have 1-2 areas down-selected by this time next year and then game time.

    You just wait
Okay so I'm kind of embarrassed about something. My phone (and I'm sure the majority of other people's phones) was set to automatically update for the longest time. I don't know when that changed, but apparently it stopped automatically updating. I did think it had been a while since an update but I figured things were just slow for updates considering my phone is three generations old now. Turns out that's not the case and I was way behind on updates. Perhaps that is why my phone was flagged as ineligible :anonymous: I'm going through the process of downloading all the updates to get it back up to where it should be and hopefully when they call me tomorrow after work everything will be resolved lol

Nope, although I used to have an iron. I'm pretty sure I gave it away when I moved back from Arizona. I try and get wrinkle free dress shirts and pants these days. If I really want a shirt with razor sharp creases, I'll drop it off at the dry cleaners...

The Athol/Bayview area is starting to boom but is not too big yet. I’d be looking out there if it wasn’t so far from work. We really want to be up in the mountains between Hauser and Rathdrum. But it’s all disappearing quick or crazy expensive for us locals.

Glad I missed the uproar over some model in jeans yesterday. She's cute and all, but not a super specimen to the human race or anything. Still would though.

We checked those spots out last time I was in CdA, good area for sure.

Further away and less amenities but I really like Old Town/Priest River.

    Electric mowers for the win.

    No plugs to change.

    No noise when mowing.

Battery life lasts much longer if you actually push the damn thing instead of using it up with the self propelling drivetrain.

1.3 acres of land and my ego gets it done. It takes three battery cycles to mow everything, but just run the trimmer while on the first charge cycle to balance the wait time. Then a beer and a snack on the second of the charge cycles.

Whatever this forum told me to do
no go with electric on large plots

I don’t push the mower. I paid for self propelled

3 battery cycles??? I’m done mowing in no time

that the same excuse Tesla owners use when they travel long distance

the trimmer is gas. So no worries

electric probably has a place presently

and only long term, if it is forced on us

Trimmer is corded. I'm a fucking miser.

And it's my grandfather trimmer. So it's probably 30 plus years old.

Had to replace the battery in my wife's key fob.

    This is where society is.

That battery manufacturer's need to coat the battery's with a bitter taste so kids won't eat them.

Or is it for the adults looking for the next cheap high? Let's us never forget the tide pod adventures.

Sears used to sell good tools.

Sears was my also first foray into a building a credit history.

I did buy the Ego weed eater when my 3rd Husqvarna died.
I don't like it as much as the gas weed eater, but it gets the job done.
It only takes me 20 minutes to trim the yard, driveway, and sidewalk.

But I will concur, fuck a bunch of electric-powered mowers and waiting on the battery to charge twice.
If I had to do that, I'd have 3 batteries @ $200 each.
    What my weed eater uses...

    upload_2025-8-3_14-37-21.png

Or go balls to the wall and get the biggest battery for the mower.

    You'll find it here.

Just curious about what size battery the mower was sold with that you have to charge it X3 to finish the job.
