You two fools need to do a deeper search on this chick and her previous acting 'roles'. Any 'shameful' behavior happening in that ad is a microcosm of what she's already 'done' to further her acting career. She has very few 'lines in the sand', and I can appreciate her dedication to the art of 'acting' and the furtherance of her career by any means necessary.

If we just let words have meaning, like butter being made with milk, and didn't allow for dishonest advertisements then people would know that butter is dairy.

Instead we have to do research at a grocery store to make sure what we are buying is actually what it claims to be.

The wife and I are almost done purging stuff from our household, working on the basement. I found the Atari way back in the storeroom. I don’t have a TV that it will hook up to, to make sure it still works. It’s in the original boxes, which I think is rare. I guess I will let daughter #1 deal with it someday. Maybe it will be worth what I paid for it in +/- 1982, perhaps by 2050. The family on the cover of the user manual look so happy, enjoying the 48k processing power, before there was Tik Tok.

I just went through something like this, it was an asswhippin'.
I've been paying for HBO through the Amazon App Store for years.
I thought it was Prime Video.

Chatted with Amazon, the App Store app won't work with Roku.
OK, cancel it, and I'll make an account with HBO.

Went to HBO to make an account, instead it kept asking me for a password I never made.
Tried my Amazon password, nope.
Alright, I'll try 'forgot my password', email me a link to change it, nothing.
Option to email me some kind of code, never got it.

2.5 hours I was on the phone with an HBO tech, at least he sounded like he was American.
He couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting the reset email, even though the test email he sent me came through.
Transferred me to this lady who sounded really American, almost like my next-door neighbor.

30 minutes with her, she said she would send the issue to someone else.
Email me the ticket number for the problem so we don't have to sit on the phone.
The next morning had an email asking if I got it working with no explanation of what I'm supposed to do.
So I did the password reset again, got the email, reset the password, signed up for HBO with my CC, and installed and signed into the app on the 3 ROKU TVs.
Wife has a few shows on HBO she likes, I never use it.

 

My daughter liked their regular apple soda when she was a kid.
