I have a Yard Machine or some no name brand like that with a B&S engine. No idea how old is is. In the 6 years I've had it, I've cleaned the spark plug once.

Up until last week, we lived in a patio home with just enough actual grass to need cutting. I was gifted a used 40v Ryobi that was perfect; took longer to get out of the garage than to actually cut the grass. Now, we've moved into a townhouse with an HOA (not an HOA fan at all, but...) that takes care of ALL outside grounds maintenance so no more mowing for me (def a fan of this). Ryobi was in turn gifted away.

 

I suppose you didn't have a yard large enough to determine how much run time you could get out of that?
I have other 40V Ryobi yard tools and am considering a mower.

I get 45 mins on a 40v 6Ah mine came with two
It's my wife's so it's perfect
I've beat on it a couple times, it's pretty impressive but feels very cheap

 

The battery that came with it was original and probably one of the first 40v's they produced, so a few years old at best. I could typically get maybe a half hour total at best if the grass wasn't wet. The newer battery with the weedeater I kept would last twice that long or more; I would usually charge the older battery 2-3 times a month and the newer one once, if that, and this was after I started using the mower on a friend's cottage yard that took maybe 30 mins to cut and weedeat. The grass at both places is also kinda thin, so less load on the batteries.

 

Looking at a Greenworks or Ego zero turn for next year
