Skids and sliders are absolutely necessary, but I think I need some bigger tires. 295/70 or 35s?

With sliders you can get away with your tires for a while

35's would be nice on the truck matt! Unless you want a different tire?

I don't think you'd need skids or sliders for DV. But,,,,,, I thought BR was gonna be fast, 2wd and boring, so definitely don't take my word for it. Probably need full armor and 40's.

It was the front wheels and tires that got the worst of it from that trail, so sliders wouldn't have helped. I'm sure that better driving is probably the correct answer, but wider and taller tires should help also.

Hey, when you go get your tire replaced, ask them if they can replace with a bigger size instead if you buy 3 new tires.

Honestly, I don't think it was the driving, I think it was that little bit of extra tire width that would've saved your rims.

And aren't you supposed to be on a plane right now?

There is a high probability that I will be in Hawaii the last week of March. Just throwing that out there in case you start seriously looking at scheduling.

    Thanks for the heads up.
We'll maybe do mid april then. Give you sometime to re-coop. But we will lock in dates as we get a little closer just be sure you go with us!
Assuming some ppl cant/can do X amount of days we will probably be meeting in DV at our camps etc.

I thought about cutting too. This way I can easily put the purdy TRD ones back on or sell 'em. Keith said it'll pass smog with 'em too, when that day comes.
There are 3 options. I went middle of the road SS pipe steel flange @ $200 + $ 25 shipping. Selling the TRD ones would easily cover the cost I should think.
I like the way the TRD's look but, I learned this weekend, function first. There goes the very last of my chrome, lol.

Yea, he said as long as the cats are there, everything after that is "pretty" much open to mod.

Also, just talked with Marshall. He's looking into pricing for a pair of MRDS bumpers and your suspension.
