It was 90°F when I got to work last night, but only 60% humidity. Felt nice outside.
But as the temp.slowly dropped to 80°F, the humidity went up to 90%. It's crazy that it felt nicer at the hotter temp.

I'm debating whether I want to do my brakes today, or go to sleep. 30 mins to go.

    Yesterday.

Once again: mowed one yard with truck alone followed by hooking up the single axle and 4 more yards. Asked the wife to "take a pic so I can put that on the forum" followed by us both forgetting to do so. LOL

I need to find another power cord for my digital camera and start doing this myself.

I've spent some time in San Antonio so I'm familiar with the Tex heat. The humidity is really what kills me, you get swamp ass just standing outside for a few minutes

It was 49 here just a couple minutes ago! Feels great, but that Canadian fire smoke is lingering...

Speaking of humidity, first yard yesterday, humidity was the worst we've had all summer. Although I felt fine with plenty of energy to spare, I sweated the most. Standing water on every inch of exposed skin.

Right! I was a little shocked to see it when I picked up my phone. As soon as I opened the app it turned to 50.
Ya'll can taunt me with your temps in late January... when I'm hibernating in my shop:rofl:

How much lift do you have in your rear do you think? I was thinking #650 springs as well if I go with the radflos. Probably gonna wait until Labor Day or Black Friday and hope they have some discounts then.

Not sure about the rear.... I'm running the full Archive Garage deal in the rear with a crap ton of weight.... If you're not running a front bumper...I'd go with the #650s.

I have the archive garage medium duty leafs and a camper and camping gear as well. So similar as you probably although my front end is somewhat light tube bumper and winch with a V6 so was thinking 650 would work.

#700 springs make me think ill get too much lift in the front. I only want around an inch of lift as my rear only has about an inch as well. I used Total Chaos drop shackles in the rear to help lower me a bit after the archive leaf springs lifted me a bit more than i wanted. Im trying to get as little preload as possible and still end up around an inch of lift.

I guess I will wait to hear from you how #700 springs do for you with your setup. Thanks for all the feedback!

We're 90s today, but supposed to be in the low 70s this weekend

Do you have aftermarket skid plates, or cat protection, like Skid Row or similar?

I've been staying closer to Downtown these last few weeks instead of out in the sticks; amazing how much nicer the weather is, except for the marine layer.

I do. I have skid row plates for front skid and oil pan. But the noise I'm getting is from the rear. One thing I was wondering is if the connection for the rear shock reservoir could have gotten turned and is getting bumped by the frame.

San Diego is definitely a great place to live for the mild weather. I did notice the sun definitely is stronger than here when the temp is the same though but that makes sense based upon latitude.

I was back visiting family in LA (lower Alabama) last week and it was upper 90s. Then went to Pennsylvania to see the in-laws and it was lower 80s. Came back home to 70s and 40s at night. PLUS NO DAMN HUMMIDITY!!

I just remember @alb1k mentioning his aftermarket skids driving him nuts because they were making weird noises. I think @daveeasa too.

Yeah, I pinged the parents who are in LA yesterday, and they mentioned it's gonna be 90s all week, and they may be in the upper-80s or something while we're dropping to 70s. I know they love it, reminds them of being in coastal FL.

Best I can do you for. Sadly, I missed the other by 9 miles.

I had to take my Skidrow Cat shield off because i was getting a popping noise when I was going up a drive ways and anything causing flex. I emailed Skidrow and they didnt have a solution. I tried poly bushings but still got the noise. My thought was that since it is connected to the crossmembers it dosent let the frame flex and then pops like a piece of sheet metal

I'll be honest, heat advisory every day of the summer is one of the reasons I never came back. You're either doing something outside and drenched from the start or you have to stay inside. I can't do it. But I know plenty of people love it.
It's nice to get a reset. I was thinking it was hot here in Idaho and I was reminded that it is not hot.

Thanks for that. I've added them to my cart in case that could be a problem solver.

That's interesting. I'll add that to my list of possibilities and can try just taking them off to see if that resolves anything. It sounds like more from the rear, but I guess it's hard to tell when driving.
