I just bought a new leaf blower. My old one, and I mean old, finally konked out. I fill my green waste can up and use it throughout the year to add to my compost tumbler.

I am surrounded by woods on 2 sides, neighbors across the road an done to the south that never clean up anything. I cant stand a messy looking place. It does not have to look like a manicured yard but needs to be clean.

My primary means of attack is my riding mower, they get chopped up into little bitsy pieces, followed by a push mower with a rear bagger for the small areas and finally string trimmer and blower...

This raises an important question concerning leaf blower etiquette.

What process do you guys do when you blow off the driveway? I usually start at the end near the street and blow all of the debri back into my own yard to avoid blowing it all into my neighbors driveway across the street or into my own ditch.

The neighbor across the street doesn’t share the same respect and all of his pinestraw and grass clippings end up on my side of the street along the edge of our ditch...

Is there a solution to this or should I just start an all out leaf blowing war in which the debri will forever be blown back and forth across the road?

I have green space (town-owned land thick with oaks that will never be developed), so I don't do a damn thing until the wind has beat up the oaks real good, then I use my leaf blower and send them all back where they came from.:D

just this. i have enough exercises in futility during the day. no need to any more. i was out for a ride yesterday and had to laugh at a guy down the street. blowing leaves out of his yard into the street as the wind was blowing them back.

Mine mostly the right side of my body
    One motorcycle crash
One car accident in my late beloved gto
One industrial accident they resulted in a 20ft fall into concrete that broke my right arm/wrist and jacked up my back shoulders hips and right knee
One tractor roll over in 2007 that I could not jump clear fast enough and pinned me on the right side of my body with the steeeting wheel digging into my chest and compressing my lungs that the air was pushed out. That’s a odd feeling
Seperated my ribs bruised lung and liver and jacked up right knee again
I toughed it out for a week before I went to the doctor. Got a ass chewing of my life that day

    So cold weather hurts me
    Lol
