@Cruisers & Co. would you guys be able to look into my VB core return charge? Order number 1017. Coming up on 8 weeks since it was delivered to you guys, so just starting to get antsy. I sent an email last week but it may have fallen through the cracks. Thanks!

Are they out of the office? I was lucky to have them answer the phone when I called. Geez, fallen through the cracks...

Perhaps. I had called them and it went to voicemail but the mailbox was full so I couldn’t leave a message. Just trying to reach them through the forum as the next avenue, and thought maybe others could still be waiting for a similar length of time. To be clear I don’t suspect anything fishy or intentional as they’ve been good to deal with. I just don’t want it to be overlooked since it’s a decent chunk of change.

It happens especially with all the orders that went through. I was first or 2nd on PML pan but the order didn't get in but eventually got sorted after a call.

I'm fairly certain our GB was way more than they expected and probably put some of the new'ish processes to the test between them and WAT. He was not thrilled when I first inquired about where my VB was since my order was placed as a single item before the GB happened later that week. I'm sure he'll get it sorted as soon as he gets the messages.

I have tracking showing proof of delivery to them. My main concern now is I’m approaching my PayPal window to file a dispute for not getting the refund. I’m hoping it doesn’t come to that.

You'll be good...there's a lot of grief and "fun" being had on how to sort the tariffs shenanigans let alone the decrepit shipping industry...hang on, send him a DM and you'll get it...I reached out a couple times with about 6 weeks before I actually got it...I did get feedback/responses from Johnny with both a DM and an email to their website contact page...I'm confident in them following thru...it's just not a timely process...

I am sure Johnny isn't the issue, but getting a response to relay is. Just an assumption. Regardless, looking forward to hearing the resolution.

Started on the BABM(big air box mod) based on the SABM. I'll wrap it again with fiberglass, clean it up, sand and paint it. I'll attach a grate to keep critters out. I forgot how I dislike working with resin and keeping it from being all wonky.

I did some hotrod louvers for mine I hogged out the fender hole like you did. Works well faced them forward so tire debris didn't enter.

We'll see what the mad scientist @snivilous comes up with for my custom airbox. This is an issue for long travel tundras and clearance etc. I wanted it to feature a large flat panel filter with pulling cool air from the front or cowl.

I got the idea from your modded prospeed airbox setup. Just took a little bit to get to it. I'm not sure if it's the filter setup but I did gain almost a whole psi in boost at the higher rpm range. So maybe @snivilous airbox will add performance. I know he questioned if it would be worth it. Definitely something to look into.

I was thinking also of an offset oval shaped filter at the end of a 5 inch intake in the fender well. @armyoffoo was working on that type of setup.

I was going this route with the Tundra Harrop snout, but the GM snout puts my filter in a different place. I found there wasn't much room in the fender to house the element, but someone could probably make a larger inlet (ram air) located behind the fog light to direct air from there to the inner fender opening. Or could possibly house the filter element in that area where the SAIS air pumps are, but that would complicate filter cleaning.

I was just looking at those pumps for somectype of ram air. Although I have all hoses removed from SAIS I need to figure how to keep the 5 volt constant running from pumps and air valves in continuity. Unplugging affects the Oxygen sensors. I know just pony up for the complete Hewitt kit to remove the pumps. I'm looking over the pump driver wiring to see what can be done. Any thoughts?
