Thanks. Yeah, big picture, it's just a tree, and no one and no things harmed other than the tree.
What sucks is that it is the only remaining mature tree in the front after we had the ash removed because of Emerald Ash Borer. Those little bastards took out over a dozen trees just on our street.
Replacing two mature trees is gonna be pricey. :spending:

And mint chocolate chip is the best ice cream by a country mile, especially on a hot day.

For me, things were getting worse at work with ever threatening headcount cuts, adding more and more work, and stacking people on top of each other. The building I reported to didn't have enough desks or parking to accommodate all the folks so people were sometimes sitting in breakrooms or kitchen areas doing their work.

Imagine sitting in a room with a hundred+ others all yacking on their phones and doing teams meetings and everyone is barely and arms length away. When people were sick, they'd bring that shit in with them and spread it around to everyone. All because they feared for their jobs.

I had been contemplating retirement for at least a year, but when things threatened to get even worse at work, it was the last straw. My wife was already encouraging me to cut loose and our financial advisor made it clear we were good with the plan we have in place. But, it still wasn't an easy decision.

@1lowlife I truly hope it works out for you and family. Sounds like you have a good plan.

Hey sorry I haven’t followed up about the campsite you’d asked about. It’s Kelly Flats, along HWY 14, Poudre River. There are really good spaces across the bridge. But, the whole place has gone downhill a bit. Mountain Park is another good place. But also crowded on the weekends.

    Thanks, Gentlemen.
    Wife is for it.
Me being home certainly cuts down on house stuff she usually does, and I don't mind doing it.

I went to work today and talked with one of my supervisors.
He's more of a friend than a supervisor.
He said I wasn't going to miss the place.
He also commented that I looked and acted like I felt a lot better than the last time he had seen me in January.
I went ahead and cleaned my locker out while I was there.

    I think it's time..

Definitely bigger tires with more tread. Maybe some suspension components in the front to make it full travel.
