Mirrors won't auto fold anymore

Hi all,

All of sudden, my truck's mirrors stop auto folding when I lock the truck, and don't open up when I unlock the truck.

I've had mirrors auto close/open automatically since I bought this truck 3 years ago, but not anymore, they just stop auto folding one day a week ago.

I can still easily open and close them with the button - so the motors still work. And the button position is in the middle - so it's supposed to close and opens automatically but doesn't do that.

I've looked through settings menu and googled a bit, searched this forum but didn't see any hints. I didn't touch any buttons nor changed any menus, and don't believe any update took place.

Am I missing something? Don't recall seeing anyone post about such issue.

Looks like something broke and I need to take it in...?

 

This is a customizable feature described in the manual that only the dealer can adjust. It appears it has somehow turned to the OFF setting. At delivery, I had the dealer adjust mine to "Linked to operation of the power switch".

 

If it helps, I have seen this in Techstream as an option to change like the feature suggests. @Kap1 if you have Techstream you should be able to change this yourself. I don't have auto fold mirrors but I have seen this when I've looked through options to see what all I could change. You MIGHT be able to change through Carista. I've noticed most options are on both Carista and Techstream but they don't always have the same options.

Just checked Carista and it is an option in their app. I'm definitely curious as to how the settings could have been changed if you didn't change anything. Good luck at the dealer.
