True story, about how people are so absolutely inconsiderate and wrapped up in their own little world. This got me labeled as the neighborhood asshole, by the way.

At our last house we had a 3 car wide about 30' long driveway that had a bit of a slope to it. I had caught a couple neighborhood kids riding their scooters and bikes on it all the way up to my garage doors. I politely asked them to not do that as we park the cars in the driveway and I don't need a handlebar running down the side of a vehicle. Not only that STAY THE FUCK OFF MY PROPERTY. So I'm in the garage working on something with the doors shut and I hear a loud AF slam into my garage door. I immediately open the garage door to see a kid rolling off on his scooter down the driveway. His mom is in the street. So, I walk over to her and tell her to have her kid not go on my driveway because of all the reasons stated above. This Karen has the balls to tell me, "if you're so worried about your cars you should park them in the garage." I may have escalated things a little when I told her to go fuck herself and keep her little shit off my property. This also prompted her to run home and send her Karen husband over. I knew it was going to happen, so I made sure my garage doors were open and I was "working" on one of my AR15's. I can see him speed walking towards my house with his chest all puffed. He gets one look at what I have going on and slows his roll and just keeps on walking while I stare right into his eyes.

 

Yup. I have officially retired from organized adult sports. Especially ones with kids half my age.

 

Oh I've had my days for sure and will probably still have a few more, but overwhealmingly trying to be positive. Has made me connect with my kids on a different level since I can't play with them like I normally do.

 

Last I knew he was in an F-150

 

I don't know who @VelcrowKnight is but if I'm on a list with @GODZILLA I'm in pretty good company.

I'm still doing the indoor soccer thing, but I know I'm on borrowed time. It's cool because my 26 year old son is on my team and some of his friends. I've known these guys since they were all around 5-6 years old.

 

He now drives a white grenade. Something none of us saw coming. Especially the white version.

That’s interesting about the beef, I didn’t know that. Nice that they wrote you back. They do have a good burger! Maybe they will go into the CSU Union or an existing retail space around here someday. They had talked about having a sit-down restaurant option, and also walk-up options. I don’t know if they’ll try that here at some point. I’ve also heard they have a huge food semi-truck, it would be cool to see it.

 

It’s a special flavor they have at the food truck at a Jamiroquai concert , allegedly.
