Has anybody replaced these? If so how complicated was it? Mine have faded down to chrome and look terrible so I was planning on replacing them but I can’t seem to fold anybody that has posted about swapping them out. Thanks.

Some people complain the screws are rusty and nasty. And @Professional Hand Model wisely put a butyl-backed piece od sealer over the plastic inserts those screw into, which is wise. I suspect the holes the plastic insert receivers use are one source of water entry into the a-pillarm which ends up in the fusebox and electrical connectors to the left of the e-brake pedal, which results in throttle control issues, and misc other gremlins.

I wouldn't just buy the trim. I'd buy new plastic inserts and new screws also, install the new plastic inserts, seal those in place with butyl, and install the new trim with the new screws.

Per Toyota's EPC, the plastic inserts are part# 9008018042 and the screws are 9016850076. I confirmed, these are the same p/n for all three cab types, and you'll need (8) of each (edit: 4 per side of each item, so 8 total screws and 8 total inserts/grommets, so 16 total pieces)
