Can some one please tell me clearly, does the TRD Fox suspension lift the Sequoia over the regular say SR5? I read different things everywhere. Someone told it raises 2.5 over regular but that seems wrong? The brochure say 18mm more rebound? Please help.

No, it does not raise the SUV...

You'll get increased suspension travel, and w/the valving and spring set up, you'll find it to be a bit 'softer' than the standard suspension. If you're on fire service roads, washboards style dirt roads, etc... it'll really perform much better than the OE SR5 setup; you'll notice it to be less 'jarring' on those types of roads, potholes, and bumps.

However, just note that the increased travel and softer spring rate will give it a little more 'float' on turns while on payment. Some folks don't like this and want a more sporty or planted feel.

Hope that makes sense and answers your questions...

Thank you. I didn't think it really had a lift. I just picked one up and the LF coil is cracked. This is something I knew going in got a decent price on it because of this. Figured I'd ask before I really narrow down what I'm going to replace it with. For what Toyota wants for the FOX assembly you can buy a fair bit aftermarket. Any suggestions? This will be my daily driver. Tow vehicle. Family road tripper and gravel/ mountain road/trail ripper. Not so much extreme off road but definitely off the beaten path.

Contact @memario1214 via PM and give him the specs and parameters you're after... He'll get you into whatever you're looking for in a setup at a price that's more than fair. His customer service is top notch, and most of us on here have made several purchases from him

Since I tagged him for you, I'm sure he'll chime in here at some point as well.

If the springs were in good shape, I'd suggest sending them in for a rebuild... which is about $200/corner, but w/a cracked coil you're gonna end up having to replace those anyhow. So, you're on the right track w/just moving to a new set up!!!
