I still eat snuckers grape jelly on sourdough toast every now and again. Maybe it's the trailer in me?

I totally forgot to post, the indent in the plastic bumper popped out on its own in the 100* sun a couple days later
    IMG_5371.jpg IMG_1281.jpg
Theres a guy around here that fixes plastic bumpers, I'll have him take a look at it, but it will probably just get buffed out the best it can

Yeah, I agree. That doesn’t look bad at all. Maybe a little touch up paint and it won’t catch your eye at all.

Since one of my swamp coolers is not pumping water,

I decided to apply my newly acquired small engine repair skills

    and research this pump issue

    Home Depot has replacement pumps

    $20

    Sunday project is a go

Nice. Looks quiet and peaceful. And looks to have good potential as a OCOKA property.

you can have a rooftop deck with 360 views :infantry:

and an elevator from the roof straight down to the bunker, I mean, basement.

    So…..

I have some neighbors that are consistently using our driveway to turn around

    Nobody else does this

what is a good “fix” to halt this inconsiderate behavior?

My fix is to set up some orange cones on the driveway

this prevents me from having to confront said shithead

    what say yall?

    Maybe a temporary sign
Is it causing damage or disturbing the peace?
I don't know, I just don't get worked up over this kinda stuff unless ^^^
I live on a narrow road at the bottom of a curving hill. I always offer my yard for parking if my neighbors are having guests

Might as well try the cones, if you think they’ll take the hint.

And then if you see them, you could casually mention why you’re doing it, stress casually.

    — I’m not really looking to have people use my driveway, it’s intrusive.

If they get all defensive, maybe laugh it off and tell them you’ll need to start charging rent if they want to use it — does $200 per month sound good? I prefer cash, in advance.

Are they running over the grass or something?

What is it about the turn around that bothers you?

Not being a dick. Genuinely curious.

I wouldn't use cones, that's more hassle for you every time you guys leave and return.

I would catch them out there and have a friendly chat or get their phone number and send a text

Option 2, cuz... we all like options :D

Next time you want to wash your truck, drive that shit up into their driveway (make sure they're home to see this shit go down), then drag your 2-bucket wash setup over to their property, hook up your foam cannon to their hose, and start washing your truck!!!!

When they come out w/that WTF are you doing look on their face, just glace at them w/a look a confusion and state, 'What?? I thought we were into sharing resources... :notsure:

Honestly this seems like the best advice. The friendly chat is always the best way.

But it must be nice, I have to point out, being 6’7”, probably helps keep people feeling like friendly is their best option!

Truth. The extra bullshit and attitude I deal with at 5'6" gets old. I have to be an asshole to be taken seriously half the time.

Whatever this forum told me to do

    because it's inconsiderate.

we only have 16 houses in our little community

and there is a cul-de-sac 100 yds down the street

    you know....to turn around in!!

and, as we all know...turning around in a driveway is about the worst thing to do to a driveway.

see, if I said something to them....they would play coy...and wonder why I'm making an issue.

    and

they know we are not there during the week...the cameras catch them.

    they are "assuming" it's ok.

    typical lazy ass karens.

    people are awful.

    ______
it's really not that big of a deal...i am just looking for a way not to have to deal with them.
