Guy from AR looking to get into a 1st gen

Hi all. Long time Toyota driver, currently driving a 2000 4runner sport with 5 speed manual. Keeping my 4Runner but looking to get into a 1st gen Tundra as well. Baby on the way so DC is a must. Have been researching trucks for the past few weeks and am convinced that the 1st gen is the right truck for me. Excited to be here!

I used to vacation at Lake Norfork when I was a kid.

 

I'll be darned! I grew up in Hot Springs. Welcome!

 

Beautiful lake but near the opposite end of the state. It was Ouachita and Hamilton for me. One of the many nice things about AR, wherever you are, you aren't far from a pristine lake and a little wilderness. Except maybe West Memphis...nothing good comes from there.

 

Very cool! I've spent a lot of time in NWA, have family there still. If I were to live anywhere else in AR that would be it. Getting awfully crowded in the Fayeteville, Springdale, Rogers, Bentonville area now though. My best friend just moved to Bentonville, wife took a job with Sam's.
