Hello folks Johnnyred i just Registered I just got a 2014 tundra with 70thousand miles on it it's a 5.7-liter SR5 2wheel drive and i love and plan 0n doing upgrades to it but first a little about me i live in southern Oregon I run a licensed Handyman Business, I'm a hard core four-wheeler for that i have a fully equipped 78 Jeep that needs no roads Called the Mountainpumcan (Its Orange) im a miner with 2 claims in the Siskiyou mountain range of southern Oregon (play grounds) x wife after 27 years of marriage grown kids grandkids and all that stuff but the new toy is the Tundra I've always liked them but never thought i would own one till now so I've joined this forum to get all the incites from those that have the experiences good or bad with Tundra's My first upgrade is a dual battery system this is what i got so far and ill explain the purpose yellow top optima primary battery for the tundra a lifpoe4 100 amp hr. Lithium secondary battery a 6000watt inverter and a 5000v step up transformer that's it, now i need your input to put it all together the purpose is to run 120v to 240v at the mining claim lights pumps motors a small trommel camp trailer and so on, there will be dust involved water /rain and all of it, less what need to be in the engine compartment will be mounted in the back of my tundra the battery system that is so what is out there i don't need fancy not for show, but hardy ,durable capable giving the demands ill be putting on it between the 2 claims and work and the only fuel needed is for the tundra i have a full array of solar panels solar generators off grid ready to aid in the power needs but i the tundra is the main focus im also fully capable of installing wiring what ever is needed and will fabricate /weld all brackets as well Im all ears or in this case all eyes for what works the best

First, Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! You seem to be fairly sharp from your statements, but you might want to add some punctuation. It is very difficult to read they way it is.

I apologies for the lack of punctuation i tend to forget proper punctuation when typing, I re read what i posted and your right punctuation definitely would make it easier to understand. Thanks for pointing it out

Understandable, especially if you're doing this on your phone. Now if you have questions about things (I didn't re-read your original post), you'll get more and better responses if you post them in one of the more topic-specific forums. Not everyone monitors the New Intros forum.
