A build for speed and handling, I know it sounds crazy.

This thing is sick! love following the build. And I'm jealous!

 

The 1000cc injectors came in today, I'll install them Monday.

 

I posted this somewhere else, but I do love the way the powered coating came out on the wheels. This was the first time a got to clean them since the engine was finished.

 

Oddly enough, the 1000cc injectors don't fit flush in the Prospeed fuel rail. They are .04 millimeters bigger at the top of the injector than the 750cc. I had to remove the o rings and polish them down a bit to get them to fit. You can see in the difference.

 

Made some pulls today in Mexico.

I don't know if Fastlane gets on the forum anymore. He sold the truck and as I recall bought one of those 700hp Whipple F150 trucks.

I did sell the Truck, it was hard to get the tune just right, after 4 ECU. I was either going to get a bigger blower and a built transmission, or sell it for something with a higher HP starting point. So I sold it, I picked up a 2023 F150 super snake. if I had to do it all over again I would have kept the Tundra. The F150 was very nice inside, but the outside was all plastic and very disappointing. After going through the build sheet of the truck, I found out Shelby doesn't even build them, and you can tell. Thanks to everyone who helped with the build and all of the positive comments. I currently have a CT5 Blackwing, so far so good.

 

Post some pics of the blackwing, those things are nice! Did you find that the current pickup truck options just aren't worth messing with vs just getting a quick car?

 

I just got my wife a new Sequoia, and I love it. So I was looking at some Tundras, but for some reason I don't think they look as good as the Sequoia. I'm not ruling out getting another 5.7.

 

Some solid lessons learned from the first round, that's for sure. But agreed on the Sequoia looking much better than the Tundra these days.

The blackwing looks like a fun ride. What ever happened to that Mercedes you shared photos of last year?

 

I sold the Benz, it's was a very fun and beautiful car, but the paint was too much work. If you got a small scratch you couldn't buff it out, you had to paint the panel. Very hard to keep clean.

 

I ended up getting a New Black TRD Pro, the dealership is installing a lift kit, wheels and 37in tires. Once it's here I will install a Stillen tune and a S and B intake.

While not for me for practical reasons like driving down dirt roads and other rough terrain it looks Great!!
Have a Buddy who was into slamming the old Toyota Trucks before the Tacoma came out.
That thing would stick like glue in the corners and was a Blast to Drive!!!!!!
It being in our younger days he couldnt afford a Supercharger.
And to be honest I dont even know if there was one available for em back then.

The only drawback to my Buddies Truck was speed bumps.
He'd have to hit em at an angle and it would still rub on occasion.

 

So, here's the new rig, I'm looking up performance parts now, thanks for all of the comments on the old build. I'm excited to start a new one.
