    Hey all!

I'm hoping someone can point me in the direction of some additional shock options for the Deaver U748s. I'm aware of ADS/MCM Fab and the models that they advertise as being the correct length to take full advantage of the U748s additional travel, but am not aware of any others. I've definitely seen setups where people are using Kings and other brands, but was unsure if those were actually sized appropriately or they just live with the knowledge that the shocks are the limiting factor in down travel. The ADS seem to be great from everything I've read, but they're probably a little bit more capability than I need as I've been content with the mid-budget shock I've been running for the last 40k.

While on that note, how "bad" is it to have your shocks be the limiting factor in down travel out back? Is this something that's only a concern for highspeed suspension cycling? Or could you/will you eventually cause damage to the shock even with slow speed or even static (i.e. on a chassis lift)?

    Icon has their rxt rears,
Accutune Offroad has a custom solution,

TotalChaos and Camburg both sell shock relocation kits allowing you to install a 12” stroke shock.

You can get away with oem length shocks if you provide a compensating droop mechanism ala a properly configured limit straps.

    Too many mods to come
Fox and king all have the shock for this also. You can get them from camburg, total chaos, DK depending on the shock mount you want to run with the 748
