You're a bad influence lol. I was thinking about the Halo 9 a couple of weeks ago. This Pioneer with its reboots and intermittent lag/unresponsiveness is getting old.

 

Mine hasn't been doing it lately, but I have been over Pioneer for a coon's age and this deal was the tilting point. I spoke to one of their salespeople and after answering my questions, I knew I was sold.

 

I’m coming up on 2 years with mine and like it a lot. I had some issues with the backup camera cutting in and out and they sent me a new maestro wiring harness that seems to have fixed the problem.

 

Any good i fo to share from your questions? Do you select no amp option if running aftermarket amps?

 

I already have the XM tuner so he told me to click on "No" when it asks you if you're set up for XM. Just answer the questions on the form and they do the rest. Plug n play.

On the amp question, I clicked Yes, non-JBL. I'm assuming it means if you have the factory amp under the passenger side seat.

 

I have a Factory amp but of course it's not used.

 

I have it sitting in my garage, and the JL Audio replacement sitting in its place.

 

Nice. I could always call them. So it's plug and play to connect right to our current Maestro units after we reflash them?

I've noticed lately that I have had some volume loss with mine too. Everything has been set the same for the last couple of years and now there are times where I have to turn the volume to 11 or 12 when it used to be fairly loud at 7.

 

You know you wanna buy it.
