Dude, you're confusing kabuki with geishas.

Kabuki theater actors are men who play both male and female characters.

Geishas are female performers focused on traditional Japanese performance arts in music, song, and dance.

True. Not confusing at all. Not your dude. I lived in Japan for 5 years. I know kabuki quite well. Formal tea ceremony is real geisha. Special parades and ceremonies are girls/women dressed up. Weddings. $$$$$$$..
Tourist trap geishas are usually gay men dolled up as geishas. The majority. Tourists have no f'ing clue.

I spent a week at NAS Atsugi, but unfortunately didn't have the time to hit Mt Fugi. I could see it in the distance. Not the same of course. Nice pic!

I spent 6 months in Iwakuni, never had the chance to get up North. But I was able to see the Peace Memorial Park (Ground Zero) in Hiroshima, as well as Kintai Park, Kintai Bridge, and Iwakuni Castle on Mt Shiroyama. Beautiful area...and if you ever decide to visit Peace Memorial Park, please be respectful. It's a very sombering experience.

I was stationed at MCAS Iwakuni. Type 4 calibration lab. One year. Sent to MCAS New River for a year. Re-upped. Promoted to SGT and requested to go back to Iwakuni to MCC-1 calibration lab. 4 more years. Lived off base and bought a Toyota Starlet. I went all over! Ha
Quite familiar with all you mentioned ten times over...H&MS 15. F4's and A4's at the time. PMEL Lab. Microwave lab. Game changer for my career. Stayed in calibration for 45 years. Recently retired.

It was a UDP deployment for me with the 31st MEU back in the mid 90s. Stationed out of Yuma with MALS-13 Avionics, attached to MALS-12 in Iwakuni. Thoroughly enjoyed being in Iwakuni and the JNs that worked the chow hall were the greatest bunch of perverted bastards you'll ever meet :rofl::rofl:

Suntory whiskey is the worst! Japanese whiskey is the worst. I met most of my Japanese friends by turning them on to JW or JD! Sake with gold flakes in it is what you want to bring back concerning booze. I no longer drink hard liquor. Beer only and my Oncologist hates that!

Oh...Suntory Vodka is fermented rice piss.

Pull more, no. Haul more, yes. Toyota AUS shows up to 7700lb tow and up to 2740lb payload for the hilux depending on configuration.

Not really the Tundra's fault. Hilux is often sold as a compact HD work truck on the global market. Tundra is a consumer vehicle not designed for this role.

Hilux is overbuilt and a lot of truck for it's size, but IMO is a rung below the tacoma in interior comfort.

Dude... HTF does one get 'assfister' approved for use as a screenname????

I'm pretty sure the only thing to one-up that would be FKDMV as a license plate

We lived in Japan from 1958 to 1962 and visited the Takarazuka Review every year. it is still running having started in 1914. A massive theater production rivaling Broadway in many ways. A description of the cast:

"Japan’s famous Takarazuka Revue (宝塚歌劇団) is an all-female musical theatre troupe based in Takarazuka City, Hyogo Prefecture. The theatre puts on massive, colorful, Broadway-style productions of Western musicals and famous Japanese plays. All roles are played by women, and these “Takarasiennes” famously claim to “sell dreams”.

"The members of the Takarazuka Revue are all unmarried women. These women play male roles in addition to female parts. The male roles are called “otoko yaku,” while their female counterparts are “musume yaku.” The otoko yaku typically have short hair, stronger physical builds, deeper vocal ranges, and the ability to imitate a male speaking voice. The musume yaku usually have long hair, feminine voices, high vocal ranges, and a pure, innocent atmosphere. Onstage, it is very easy to tell them apart by their appearance, which differ drastically in makeup, mannerisms, and dress. Takarasiennes typically select a “gender” while they are students and stick with it, but some members do switch roles mid-career."

The Tundras are just too big to offroad in a lot of cases.

In 1999, my reserve unit went to Okinawa for two weeks. I brought back a bottle of whiskey with the Habu in it. I figured I would lose it at customs. When we landed, customs saw we were obviously a military unit, opened the gate, and said "Welcome home, gentlemen." Not a single bag was searched.

Yeah...I flopped my Old Tacoma on more than one occasion.
And I learned a valuable lesson the first time.
Ya gotta wait awhile for the oil to settle back where it's supposed to be.
I basically hydrolocked it and it destroyed the engine.
I couldnt believe it but my insurance actually paid for another engine!!!
Thought for sure they were going to deny my claim claiming I was doing something I shouldnt have been doing.
While it wasnt a brand new engine it had around the same miles as the one I F'd up.

Check out a local Toyota dealership, in the Philippines they had some off the wall TRD stuff and some nice hats you can't find in the states.
