Hey guys, haven't been on for a while as I have been sick for almost 3 weeks with a bad sinus infection. My wife and I are going to be purchasing a motor home for more camping adventures and I cannot afford to keep the Tundra too. I am finishing up the safari top and will be putting the truck on the market soon. A lot of you have followed my build and know that I have a lot of time invested in my baby. Just curious what you folks think it's worth. 35K, 40K, 45K ? My truck has never been abused and does not have a scratch, dent or ding on it. My builds are in my signatures, but here's a few more details :

Truck is paid for: Clear Title in hand
    Truck: 2015 SR5/TRD PRO 4WD CrewMax
    Engine/Trans: 5.7 V8 w/auto trans.
    Miles: 19,635
Purchased: 08/15....still under factory bumper to bumper warranty
Seat covers and garaged from day one
Wheels: OEM TRD 18" with custom powder coat
    Tires: Nitto G2 37x12.50 with 5900 miles
Suspension: OEM rear leafs, TRD PRO shocks all corners, custom airbag mounts
Diffs: 4:88 gears professionally installed and under warranty
    Twin ARB compressor
To many other things to list, but here are some pics and see build threads for more

FYI I sold mine a couple of months ago and got 35K. You can see everything I had on it, listed in my build thread. It was a 2015 Tundra Crewmax SR5 2WD with 34K miles and a ton of aftermarket options. I think you should be able to get 35K-40K.

Yeah I am waiting to see if the Tundra gets a redesign next year, if so I will be getting one, definitely 4WD. Not making that mistake again. If not, I am going to get a Raptor. Not buying anything until next year.

The safari top is getting the fiberglass work finished up at a fiberglass shop right now. When I get it all buttoned up, I will be posting for sale. The guys at the Corporate Bilstein offices want to take some pics of the truck when completed. The offices are local to me here in San Diego. That should give some attention to the truck. Thanks for your reply !

GLWS, I’ve been toying around with the idea of selling mine as well and getting a used taco. :anonymous:

    Probably won’t happen though.

Only trouble is I think they look at Nada Guides and KBB and probably wouldn't factor in all the mods. Might be worth a try anyway. Thanks

Sorry to hear you have to sell the Tundra. I know you could sell it for a lot here in CO. Just make sure you take that new motor home up to AK on Vaca....A bucket lister......

KBB and Nada is always way off here in Denver Metro area when it is comes to Taco's or Tundra's. OrJeeps/FJ's. Don't go by them at all...just sayin.

Have you ever sold or traded a vehicle before? Check listings on the various car sale websites for similar year miles and trim to yours in your region, then check kbb, nada, etc. Throw out some of the highs and lows then take the average and that's what you can expect. Mods are not really worth anything, sometimes make it worth less unless you find the right buyer.

Peace of mind. I see all of these sweet expedition rigs and I think 4WD is almost a necessity.

Better to have and not need, then to need and not have. 4WD has a higher resale value too.

This is definitely the same direction my build is going.
I’ll be scouring the inter webs to see what you build up next.
Thanks for always thinking outside the box.
My bet on price would be 35 private party. Maybe 38 if you find someone who can appreciate the build aspects.
