    2017 tundra 5.7 2wd.

Checked a couple fuses for cigarette lighter. Removed 2 fuses (one was good and 1 wasn't) and replaced the blown fuse. Started truck up, traction control , abs, brake and check engine lights are all on. Also brake controller error and wouldn't go into gear.

I used shifter lock bypass button got it into gear and while driving I noticed speedometer wasn't working and fuel gauge was moving back and forth from empty to half tank.

Checked for codes and I can't remember number but it related speedometer. That was the only one.

Please help and thanks in advance.

These trucks are very sensitive when it comes to electrical changes. Disconnect the battery for a few minutes to clear it and then reconnect it. If you weren't aware, the truck will shut off the first time you start it after reconnecting the battery.

I should add that I can drive it but speedo doesn't work, have to use shift lock button, fuel gauge is all over the place.

The check engine light is now on with P0500. Vehicle speed sensor malfunction. I'll look at that next.

I'm having a hard time believing that switching out a blown fuse could cause so many issues.
