I have a 17 CM Platinum for almost 10 months bought new. I have been getting Trailer Brake Controller Warnings. The dealership replaced it earlier last week, it popped up again, the speedometer is intermittingly working, the RPM gauge is just twitching slightly, the ABS light is on, the brake light is on, the 4Hi and 4Lo are flashing, the traction control light is on. It willbe going back into the dealership on Monday. Has anyone else had these issues occur and if so what was the resolution to it? Any ideas would be appreciated.

I have not. I don't recall reading anything like what you have going on.

I'm sure they will narrow it down and get her back to 100%.

No, but sounds like a loose ground or wet ABS sensor.

had the same thing happened to my wife's FJ, a bunch of warning lights where on and this is what the dealership found. A mice chewed up on some wires in the engine bay.

Yup! It happened around November and you can see all the leaves from fall the little shit brought with her. Good thing it was just that part and didn't cost me that much. The mechanic said he's seen some really bad ones to where the insurance had to get involve.

My 7 th Toyota And MY LAST, constantly battling mice inside the cabin. I have mouse traps Under the seats. Toyota left an open air vent just above the cabin filter. With this opening mice come and go at will. Is TOYOTA KIDDING ME? I brought this piece of garbage truck to a local mechanic who installed wire mesh over the vent and screened the cabin filter. This is something I shouldn’t need to do with a $58000 truck. GOOD BY TOYOTA. I am attaching photos so others can do the same repair.

Rabbits love the stuff too. People park their cars at DIA for a week or so and by then rabbits have done their deal. There was a article in the paper a few years ago that showed a car at a shop here in Denver. The photo showed two rabbits in the undercarriage. They got a free tow apparently. Heh..heh..

I heard this is due to the manufacturers using soy based wire insulators. Do manufacturers still use these soy based insulators? You think after they found out rodents think they are tasty they would switch to something less appetizing.
